Wouldn't this sac your lands as well, keeping you from the mana needed to cast the enchantment? Alara specifies nonland permanents but the other cards don't

You can activate the ability at any time. It doesn't actually have to regenerate to get the discard. Regenerate just puts a delayed state based trigger on the creature until end of turn. You can even activate it multiple times at once to discard cards if you need to, like for a reanimator strategy.

It actually is a decent include in a madness deck. BUT! All of that creature type have been erratod to lizards so it is another cheap lizard for a gev deck that gets pumped up. As for the request would love to see dopplegang on your channel card needs more love only in 3% of decks.

I have a Mardu deck with multiple indestructible lands in it for the sake of using 'destroy target land, its controller searches for a basic' effects as ramp. This is a perfect fit, since I'm already benefiting from having multiple lands that won't be destroyed by it.

Circuit Mender also has that rare "Leaves the battlefield" clause. So you can draw a bunch with Delina while gaining a bunch of life, without giving your opponent's resources. I would play this in Patron of the Kitsune. 🦊
