I personally saw weird stuff near there in 1993. Backpacking across a short railroad bridge near Soda Springs (very close to Donner), looking down on the Truckee river from the bridge above, we saw a man "fly-fishing". I was 15 at the time, but I KNOW what I saw. He never thought anyone could be within 10 miles. He wasn't fly fishing. 'Self pleasure' should be done INDOORS, not while you're "fly fishing" in a waders, standing knee deep in the river. Rubbing one out while holding a fly rod, is still rubbing one out. My Dad called him out from the bridge, mid-spank. I'm just glad the guy didn't eat us.... true story btw

If you go through the backside of French Meadows you get a cool dirt road that goes all the way back up to soda springs

Apparently there is a Military Base between Murphy Hot Springs and Twin Falls, Idaho. It's not on any map, but have heard there are "Craft" that you can see at night possibly even in daytime. I lived in Twin Falls for decades and first I've heard of this. Perfect place for it, really nothing out there.

Where around here do you recomend to get tires mounted on a GSA? I had 5th gear do my klr650 but not sure i trust them to not screw up the rims on my GSA

Their are so many places to ride like this in the Sierra Nevada mountains it takes decades of exploring to see it. And when you add dirt roads well you won’t see them all unless you never have to work.

There are thousands of miles of dirt logging roads or fire roads AKA deer hunting roads all over the Sierra Nevada mountains
