As a little boy, back in the early '60s, I used to watch my father become deeply moved while listening to Brassens sing Les sabots d'Helène. He was a true fan of the French composer and singer, having discovered him through a friend. I, too. became a fan of Brassens, and just a few minutes ago I just had to listen to my father´s favorite song, if only to feel him close once again. First I listened to Brassens sing it, and to Oren, Abro and Zelman play it. I loved it. thank you!

C'est une reprise jazz assez libre, c'est une exploration rythmique et harmonique de la chanson de brassens. Perso je trouve ça intéressant, après si on recherche de la fidélité c'est effectivement pas par là qu'il faut la chercher ahah. Bien joué aux musiciens, on sent les heures de travail derrière !
