@@2artactical55 that’s a good idea too to toggle it, I like the constant cooling cause Argo was always famous for running hot lol! I don’t run any other accessories really, maybe winch in a pinch.

@muddythumper8152 of for sure. The more cool air entering the engine compartment, the better. I don't have a backup pull start for mine and have had my battery level go very low in the woods at night with lights on. If there was a constant on fan running the moment I turned my key on, it wouldn't have started. My engine is liquid cooled and has great airflow from the radiator fan as is. Eventually, I want to install an alternator to keep up with the power draw demands I want to put on it. I now carry one of those pocket-sized battery jump starters under the seat. I just like to be able to shut off what may not be needed on start-up if I'm in a low battery pinch. A hood scoop fan would also be on my list of stuff to pull more hot air out of the engine bay on demand.

I put the bent one away an put the oem one back on but it has a little rust on it idk if that has anything to do with it or do I need to order a new generator pulse coil

@@davidbrewer7937 yup you got that right Argos are expensive , upper tubs and lowers can be swapped out. I’ve had mine separated. Lower tub is a lot of work to remove cause you have to remove the frame. I got my old 8x8 for sale now. She has mud tires on it currently .I’m happy with the 2022 model so hope the 8 wheeler gets a good home. Argos are maintenance machines that’s for sure. I drive my 6x6 more then the quad these days! you dont need a wheel spacer switch over to 400ex rear hubs they fit right on! they also have a offset

Argos don’t have suspension , I wouldn’t recommend salt water cause of rust but people use them in salt water. Psi is Like 2-3 psi or so

Yes , I still like the bike a lot. Hopefully I’ll get some more riding time in soon. I got a new 6x6 too so I’m trying to juggle driving it all. I’d buy that bike again. I have a group on fb called Argo xplorer atv and sxs, I get mostly all positive reviews from people in that group too. I’m not a dealer, nor sponsored just someone who likes toys. You can use a universal one too( my lifted trike has a universal motorcycle air filter on it ) , just gotta make a adapter , to take it. Try a local atv scrap yard for a rack

And busting the drive belt I got 4000k on it now but when I bought it seem to have alot vibrations in the handle bars

You should get the dealer to look at that , I got no issues with my belt. I got less then 500 kms though. Yes they’re designed to vibrate like that from factory

Yes I can believe it lol, I almost bought the cfmoto. I’m in Canada. I’m a big fan of my Argo quad , she hasn’t given me any trouble yet , and to me it’s probably similar quality to a cf moto or better. I have a friend with a 2018 model with lots of kms on his and No issues. I think they’re priced cheaper cause they’re newer to market in Canada and us. Thanks

Argos drive kinda like how they look like a tank lol. If you are running on flat ground or terrain like marsh or barren or mud, they arent bad at all. I like cruising around in the argo. If you are on rocky terrain be prepared for a bumpy ride. I got a quad for when i want to just ride trails or train track type of roads. but when i want to go through some bog or marsh or go over real rough terrain, argo is the only thing im taking. Hoping to get better footage next time, ill run two cameras in case one of them point up in the clouds again lol! Looking forward to trouting in the pond with the argo this year too. Thanks!

I cut them to size and angled them. If I redone it , I would make the rear piece removable. But wasn’t to hard to fit them in

im in Newfoundland, it is a old train track. They used to run across the province but the trains were removed from here. We use them like ATV trails around here these days

@@muddythumper8152 My grandfather had a 6x6 and we got an 8 wheeler. the 6x6 was a 1989 and the 8x8 is a 1990 or 91. Im planning on getting a newer 6 wheeler myself tho soon.

Yes 6 inches for sure , Argo is about 1 inch high too lol

just normal 2 stroke engine oil and mix it 50:1, throw it in the tank if you have the oil injection unhooked, premix the fuel

Not really, sometimes one could be adjusted slightly different to compensate for like a worn piston or something but they’re usually set up almost the same
