Medicated Assisted Treatment for Alcohol and Opioid
Its a choice. Youve lost every debate on this all you're doing is making excuses for your behavior.
Hell yeah, absolutely beautiful. Keep going. I'm at almost four and a half years so it's absolutely possible.
You aren’t curing anything you’re just replacing one drug for another drug that is not a cure
I know dealers who don’t use but touch them all day long.
Banging speed was always super difficult for me since I had already pretty much already used up my veins when it became readily available in my city. He must of kept shooting even though the second you miss it's just blinding pain so that's crazy to me. Unless he's just talking about having an abscess in general. Keep fighting the good fight brothers and sisters. I've got four years sober now and I promise you it's possible. Take it one day at a time, one hour at a time, or even one minute at a time if you have to
What all them tattoos do for u??
U're a GD junkie!!.....That's all!!
Im having my 2nd injection tomorrow. It is amazing i can live my live and not feel like i need anything.
Yeah, I've been on mine for a while now, it is a lot better being on a once a month injection instead of taking suboxone medication daily. I felt like taking suboxone was like being on a roller coaster, cause it felt like it was constantly going up and down, whereas being on the sublocade is keeping you at a consistent level. Plus you're not having to worry about it as much and you can focus on other things in your life.
The only downside to the injection is the pain, cause it causes a stinging pain because of the medication, as soon as it's administered into your body the medication starts to harden which is why you get a burning or stinging pain. When I get mine, i prefer them to do it around my lower stomach because you have more fatty tissue there and it doesn't hurt as bad, whereas if they go higher up, like above your belly button it stings more because there isn't as much tissue there. If you ever want any questions or info, you're more than welcome to send me a message or talk to your doctor at the clinic you go to, that should always be a first anyways. Hope everything is going well with your treatment! ;)
@@TheChelzin8or yeah I know exactly what you mean. I've been injected in my left and my right arm now. Next time I'll ask for the stomach like you said. Been going great thanks hope you've been well off the treatment to 👍
I weened myself down to 2mg for a couole months and went and got one 100mg sublocade shot hoping this will be a 1 and done type of deal since i was really low anyways...i aslo eat a very strict and plant based diet and exercise a lot
Sublocade saved my life ...😊
Thank god for all the living angels who so unselfishly save lives of the addict.
You gotta do what you gotta do to stop the cycle of relapsing.
I hear you. One day at a time. You're an inspiration to the newcomers.
So it's Suboxone well it will send you into massive withdrawal just like the strip
It’s single mothers spawn g trash
Saw everything except what I needed. I want to see if they aspirate the needle.
other countries don't have the capital to pay for it, even if they wanted to. Most of their society isn't based around the drive to work and be productive, they're dominated by welfare status which appease their citizens already. Different drug, same result.
America has a drug problem because the powers-that-be want it that way. They create the problem, then offer "solutions" that generate immense wealth for a select few. And, de-pop at the same time. It's a two-fer.
In Australia, even with a couple takeaways per week, going to the pharmacy to pick up your daily dose is so super degrading and you’re treated inferior by many pharmacists! The buvidal injection saves my life and so many others’. Love it!
NA meetings are a great resource, however I disagree with their label of not clean if one is on the pharmacotherapy program. If they haven’t used illegal substances and their subs, methadone ect is assisting in that, I call it being clean and something to celebrate!
I got my first one and I have a fairly high pain tolerance but I will say it wasn't fun in the slightest
That could be significantly diminished, the pain, by just a few interventions.
Right! This patient did a great job. Even with the freeze spray, it’s painful. I don’t want lidocaine for it, either, because lidocaine burns like a MF, too! See if you can switch to Brixadi! I’ve been on Brixadi since October. I made the switch from Sublocade 300mg and had absolutely no issues. It’s far less painful, to say the least.
@@AnniePaige-iq5qp, done properly, Lidocaine injections need NOT burn like a MF.
Unless you're allergic and get anaphylaxis. Like me. 😞
I’ve been on sublocade for 8 months and have been sober from fentanyl and meth for 9 months now
As a heroin addict, I highly recommend sublicaid, I used to get suboxone and I would only ever just get strung out on those. And when I had to come off I just went back to heroin. The shot has worked wonders for me. I suggest getting on strips to taper from whatever illicit opioid and then after a couple weeks of maintenance switch to the shot. I’ve had no side effects and am now 7 months clean from all and any opioids
Sounds like it’s just another version of morphine. They don’t have cravings because they’re high on your junk.
Swapping one addiction for another . garbage
Less and less people are capable of starting buprenorphine because of the high tolerances and the fentanyl in the drug supply.
You just have to wait 2-5 days now it’s not like heroin where you only have to wait 24 hours. You have to wait until all of the fentanyl is out of the system so you don’t go into precipitated withdrawal
@@gunnarsmith1885I’ve heard that people can micro dose the suboxone while weaning off fentanyl.
The viewers could not see the actual injection being administered??? 😭
No shame man, it does help break the mental factors of addiction.
Sounds like another way to substitute it so you can make the money
Keeping the people addicted. Evil.
Such a clueless response.
@@1catmac right because you know my experience and stance on the issue.
Actually, addiction Addiction is defined as a chronic, relapsing disorder characterized by compulsive drug seeking and use despite adverse consequences. MAT when used properly under the care of a Doctor and in combination with therapy, is not defined as addiction, it's Maintenance and has helped many people, learn to live without illegal drugs, and become a productive member of society, hold down a job, pay their bills, go back to school, get their children back and live a normal, manageable life without cravings, without drug-seeking. It isn't a cure but it's an option and not everyone takes the same path to recovery, as long as they are able to find recovery, whatever works for the individual. It's about harm reduction, it's about saving lives, if MAT can help someone rebuild their life, heal from the trauma that comes with addiction and be a happier, healthier person, I am all for it.
ya wanna hear some shi!!! in the rehab I was at, I wasn't allowed to stay, IF I didn't take the methadone, nothing told u that when u read about it or the papers. first week I was hurting, and they said I'd be getting my first "dose" I had no idea dn tried to say I don't wanna have this shi and just do it after 7 days I'll be fine from H withdrawals. BUT NOPE and its destroyed my body 100% I have been doing everything to get off of it! and my doctors and others have fought me trying to keep me on IT!!!! sick eh? I'm almost off of it...... cant wait to feel ok again and not be sick. its terrible ur sweaty tired out of it anxious still in pain it eats ur bones it eats ur brain and heart, makes u age, eats ur teeth, its horrid. don't wish it on everyone it saved me... but I wouldn't wish anyone to take it. 7 days of he(( after opiates then u start to get better ITS THE MIND THATS SICK PPL so heal ur minds! or the addictions will nevrremd god is with u ll and I wish u all the very best sober lives and healthy happy lives with no anxieties and stressed may God bless u with wealth and peace amen <3333333
Whatever it takes to keep people alive please 🙏
I've been on 8mg Suboxone 3 times daily for almost 3 years, and I'm terrified to come off of it. I feel like I'm stuck and the only thing that will allow me to stop, is to die. I just can't see another way out. On top of it, I'm on multiple psych meds and those cause withdrawals if i stop using them as well. I've pretty much just accepted how it has to be, and live my life one worthless day at a time, with no hope, no plan that can actually work out, and a deep fear of leaving my house. MAT works well for a lot of people. It's become a curse for me though. I hate that it has to be this way.
You should consider the once-a-month extended-release injectable buprenorphine. Our patients consider it to be a lot better than sublingual buprenorphine for many reasons.
Helped me get sober this time around too being homeless methed out, dual treatment helped now I'm drug free and medication free ❤
Ive been on Subs for 10yrs and It worked when nothing else did. But it makes you numb still. Over the past year ive got down to 4mg a day. And I feel a little to much but i feel again. If you want to listen to a really good story about subs look up Pill Anselmos story on the subject.
Getting high isn’t sober
Holy F . Some of y'all are mean as shit 😅
Prayer, meditation 🧘♂️ eat healthy organic food exercise/yoga 🙏 is all that is needed
If that worked for you, more power to you. However, everyone is different, and the main thing is to stop getting high and eventually return to living a productive and healthy lifestyle

I work DOC we had an inmate over dose on fentynal had to use two doses of narcan to bring him back. I had to administer his next several drug screens. Fentynal 100%
Ban narcan
Always trust the experts.
Fentanyl narcan training is to use two narcan vials and as many as you need to to bring them back
doesn't it need tp be administered continuously on repeat for hours?
That goes for any opioid and the dose and route. Usually needs multiple doses but can need IV if the drug continues to cause problems
It did not saved you . The damage show .
It shouldn’t 😊
You should definitly believe this guy with his infinite wisdom of pharmacology. Any amount of narcan can reverse an overdose. 4 mg narcan can reverse an overdose which is why it is the chosen dose to be given to civilians.
Yep ban insulin as well for diabetics … being fat is a chose as well!!!
Education of diabetes is free . Google it . I am diabetic I am skinny.
Dude forever has the heroin voice. Damn I know he’s not stoned but he sounds it
In time, is the keyword. Stay away from this shit. I have a close friend that found her boyfriend non responsive. They brought him back but he was a vegetable and they u plugged him 4 days later. Bye bro.😢
You look like you’re about to OD 💀
As long as it's administered as soon as possible It can reverse a fentynal overdose even if it's only the four milligram. Most narcon injection kits contain 2 viles of naloxone, both of which can be given quite quickly
