Переглядів 4132 роки тому
December 2022 Phoenix Gun show purchases, I said 2021 by mistake. I must be living in the past still. Some dudes bargain bin Kriegsmarine creation, but the main star of the show is the 1943 Springfield M1 Garand. Unfortunately no picture with the guy from Forgotten Weapons this year.

yo how do you even get a deactivated? i cant find any sellers for deacts in USA
I've found myself one of the Denix p38 replicas. The inaccuracies aren't an issue for me, I'm turning mine into a Generation 1 Megatron, from the transformers.
It’s patch work city
I look back on these to hear y’all’s voices. Good times
WE P38 is the best full metal P38 made so far, far better than Denix crap.
Little tipp if you take apart the rifle you can force the cleaning rod out
I don't have a denix k98, but i do have a kriegs model, i bought it sight unseen from a mass importer, so you got whatever they sent, & lucky for me i got the kriegs model
I used to have the denix but sold it when I got an original , here in the uk the denix it closer to $100 & a deact in nice condition around $900/$1000.a denix is a great value holster filler, but wont stand up to loads of " playing with " as they are only made of a cheaper alloy die cast metal.
Perfect video. Exactly what I needed, researching this setup. Thank you! Sounds great.
Conclusion: Denix designers have their eyes in the @ss.
It's still a replica. It is at an absolutely low price. DENIX designers don't have eyes on @ss. \You have a brain there...
@@joachimprien4160 Conclusion 1: Denix designers have their eyes in the @ss, because the absolutely low price has nothing to do with the outer shapes of the replica. Conclusion 2: You have a brain in the @ss, because you don´t get Conclusion 1.
What I would expect from a replica toy . Waste of money
Very helpful video, covered all the questions most would ask. Thanks!
If you remove the woodwork from the rifles and soak in hot water it will remove a lot of the dings and dents and clean it brilliantly.
Hey there, my model of it broke and I was wondering if you could make an internals video so I am able to repair mine! I know its been 3 years but it would really be appreciate it.
I’ve sold the Denix model shortly after the video was finished. It’s been a while since then but if my memory serves me right I don’t think there’s a way to separate the slide from the frame as the Denix does not have a functional disassembly lever. Potentially the slide is two separate pieces and screwed on. I would look at the slide and see if it has any exposed screws. Thats the only way I can think of accessing the internals of the Denix. But be warned, these things do not like to be taken apart. Hope this was some help.
Was searching the internet for a simple video of an unboxing of this canister to see how the contents were packed. Thank you!
This is how to make an exhaust video. List everything done to your exhaust ie. (nothing which is gonna be me except I have federal emissions) and then not recording it directly next to the exhaust to just get air in the microphone.
perfect Horror movie scream 🤣
M1 grand m1 grand m1 grand
The cleaning rod is removable on the replica. It does however not fit my 1943 original bayonet.
OIIIIII
Just bought a Super 44 for my 01 XJ based on this video. I watched many others, but like the sound the Super 44 gives. Can't wait for it to arrive and get it put on. Next up... Banks headers!
The Replica is more small less long barrel
I think i found this model of gas mask on a shop, didn't recognize the exact model but it was similar to this, do i have a risk to getting one with asbestos inside the mask or the filter?
It’s probably not the best idea to wear an 80 year old gasmask regardless of what it’s made of. Gm-30s contain no asbestos as far as I know, but the filter threads on the mask can fit any number of wartime or post war filter, which could contain asbestos. It’s impossible to answer the question since I have no picture to look at, you’ll have to positively identify it yourself.
Just cut off the fake cleaning rod file it down call it a day!
This is nostalgic
Tropikal bir iklimde neden Greatcoat ihtiyaç olacak bir hava durumu olabilir ki?
Beautiful
SAR Show? That’s the best!
Typical Denix, but with work they make decent wall hangers or props
Got mine in April of 2020, 1943 Inland. Never getting rid of it.
Does anyone no if they are fixing this or if it had been fixed on the replica
Unlikely. It seems to be more of a quality issue than a design issue.
I got mine with 2.5 under my xj and damn!!!
Is this the straight 6?
It is!
No question...just a comment. Thank you!!! That was incredibly helpful.
I think the denix barrel droops a bit at the front.
I completely disassembled the thing at one point and the barrel stops about halfway into the handguard. The front of the barrel is heavier than the other end which causes it to droop slightly. This can be fixed but all Denix K98s will do this.
I bought one of these and it's the biggest waste if 300 dollars. But I think they made it to go on a manokin in like a collection buy an actual one it's way better
Nice rifle i love the carbine
Honestly the Denix looked more real than the real thing with the engraved text and red colour dot/F safety.
To my knowledge I don’t believe they were ever colored in. But I do like the look too.
Thanks for the video. I don’t know if you’re interested, or if you already have shoulder straps for your pack, but “At the Front” sells canvas straps (no, I don't work for them.). I would like to know if you use your pack, and if so, how is it holding up?
Yes, I have a set of straps, not from ATF, although those are nice ones too. I used this bag at a North Africa reenactment back in March. It’s still in perfect shape. Only thing I changed was the drawstring that keeps all my goodies inside,l. I replaced it with a new piece of cotton rope. I didn’t want to damage the old one as it was quite frail and felt like something bad was going to happen if I tried to use it.
Very bad quality...Some cheap pot-metal. I have real WW2 guns, but one time I bought a Denix MP-41 replica because an original is way too expensive. It fell apart after just a few weeks. Ridiculous.
Any drone on the highway?
Nothing as far as I can tell. If anything I hear my fans more than I do the muffler at 70.
Are the gas mask have asbestos?
No, these use a filter with activated charcoal. Probably safe to breathe with, but being as old as it is, I don’t suggest wearing one all day.
@@succulentjacob oh ok
I now have installed my FM S44 and must say it definitely sounds different compared to your video - less growl, throaty and deep. I have a MagnaFlow cat installed, may be that makes the difference - your thoughts ?
Well yeah if you have a different cat than I have installed of course it’ll sound different. Everything on mine apart from the muffler is still stock.
@@succulentjacob thanks for the quick reply - I have a Magnaflow 400 cat installed, so I guess this makes the difference. However the FM S44 sounds better compared to the MF muffler I had before. Also: does it get louder over time ?
@@JoeVizethumTo me it seems a little louder, nothing too much though, just a bit.
@@succulentjacob after some months of driving now I'd say, the FMS44 indeed got a tad louder.
Denix does great stuff at reasonable prices, and I love the P-38 model! Minor differences from the original can be overlooked, since replica guns are basically for effect (room decorations) or for play/fantasy purposes. One thing I think the company should have done is to offer a model with a Nazi eagle/swastika on the grip. They should do this also with their Walther PPK model. As a matter of fact, I think back in the last century they did exactly that. But not today due to political correctness. Another problem we need to be aware of is that, increasingly, replica guns are being banned in lots of places by all the "do-gooders" out there. Some idiots actually believe that if they just pass enough laws the world will become a perfect place! Idiots!

Looking at the barrel... is it a luger one? Maybe using the same part for both guns?
Now that you mention it, it looks very very close. I wouldn't be surprised at all lmao.
Hi, the number 71 is not the soldier's number, it means that this Gasmask was the 71st issued within the soldier's unit. This number was written in the soldeir's Soldbuch (paybook). The stamp at the bottom of the canister is from the Waffenamt. That's a nice set, with nice original carrying straps and factory paint on the canister, congrats...
