DO NOT BUY HP Laserjet MFP 4301 FDW laser printer!
Переглядів 2482 місяці тому
I'm returning my brand new HP Laserjet MFP 4301 FDW laser printer purchased from HP.com only two weeks ago due to it being broken for more days than it worked and losing five full days of productivity on time spent searching for online solutions, troubleshooting with HP tech support, hosting a local repairman for 4-1/2 hours who could not fix it, and having to go to an office supplies center fo...

Wallpaper mural conceals invisible pantry doors.

Vinyl wallpaper mural covers push to open panels serving as pantry doors. Seams between panels are less than 1/8" which are mostly unnoticeable. This is not a how-to video. I only posted it to share a design idea. Wallpaper mural from ajwallpaper.com (I chose vinyl over paper) Hinges and latches from woodworkerexpress.com Most styles of cabinet hinges are free swinging. Earliest Model Mobile Wood Chipper Still Going Strong!
Переглядів 15 тис.6 років тому
Early 1950s "patent pending" mobile wood chipper by Asplundh is probably the oldest surviving working chipper. Watch it teach 'history' to some 30 foot long eucalyptus trees. Choicest chomping starts at the 5:28 mark. Before I get an earful about safety in comments, the worker is experienced and knows what he's doing. Limb count: Human 4, Trees 0. Win!

Find coupons on their site....BIG THANKS to viewer Rolo...
Heal Dry, Cracked, Split Fingertips in Hours
Переглядів 116 тис.10 років тому
Put some aloe and moisturizer into a finger cot. The earlier you treat dry, cracked, split skin the quicker the results. For particularly tough cases you may want to consider using Bag Balm which is AWESOOOME. Finger cots can be found in local drugstores, but the sizes they offer may be limited. After this video I upgraded to X-Large finger cots found on eBay.

Feeding Rescued Baby Finches
Переглядів 51 тис.12 років тому
Four rescued baby birds feed chirpily from an unlikely Mr. Mom......UPDATE (4-29-12): They were released back into the wild just five days after this video was made. They gained weight and plumage quickly, due in part from a diet of enriched parakeet pellets softened with water. Two days after video they began flying. Three days after video they'd mastered landings. Four days after video they l...

It's not all the printers it's a few you were given a defective unit
Thanks for the review! Just saved me from buying
I was very sad to post this review. I previously worked in an office for several years that had an enterprise/business grade HP color printer (like this one is supposed to be) but it was a reliable workhorse. Which is why I was was willing to spend the money....For what it's worth, out of expediency, I picked up a Brother black and white MFC-L2717DW off the shelf at Costco and it's been performing like a little champ at 25% the cost which includes a genuine Brother 9,000 page extra capacity replacement toner cartridge bought on Amazon.
@@Tipjar333 thx! I had a brother years ago and I agree, great machine and never gave me any issues. I had a business HP MFP that I had for years and worked perfect, but I retired and no need for the big machine. I still do some stuff that needs a MFP, and I was using a small HP MFP that really sucks. I was looking to upgrade and was looking at this one you reviewed. I think the high end HP are great but the consumer grade stuff is junk from my experience. Brother it will be. I’ll come full circle
Awesome. Many thanks!!
The roller could be a mass connection for the horn (if center button on the wheel to activate it).
What’s up with that roller?
That's what I want to know. I just posted these to get help in a forum. It's called a "spring with roller bearing" in the parts catalogue rolling around the outside of the "positioning cam". I'm wondering if it popped out, doesn't seem like it should be exposed like that to me.
Sweet! I just bought one with the ford 330HD V8. Can't wait to use it after the bearing and knife replacement!
I ran a 70’s version of this Asplundh in the mid 80’s. If I remember correctly it had a Ford V8 with a 2 barrel carb. Terrifying but exciting piece of equipment. I’m right handed so all my workwear from back then was pretty shredded on the right side!! I’d love to find another!!
Looks just like my chipper more chipper
I have a very early model Asphlund chipper. It has a 4 cylinder ford industrial engine. The shroud is from a Ford 8N. It looks like an old tractor. Not sure what kind of horse power it puts out, but I have used this machine for over 30 years. It dosen't chip 6" pieces, but 3"-4" is ok if I cut the pieces shorter. I did replace the carburetor and intake and exhaust manifolds a few years ago. It still works pretty good, just need to replace the points every few years. Love it, easy to work on too.
Fine rig! One thing, you never had to wonder where a 'whisper chipper' was working!
Picked up a 70s Asplundh chipper 2 weeks ago, with a '72 Ford 300. Took a few parts for the engine to run again, but it runs, sounds good too. Cracked exhaust manifold, but I doubt that will hurt a 300 any. Drum starts up fine, just need to test how well it chips now!
I have a Wayne chipper from around 1978 that is very similar to this. 318 Chrysler industrial engine. Limbs vanish - not THOSE limbs! Just subscribed!
Nice video. I live in Switzerland, and a pair of alpine citrus finches moved into one of my outdoor roller blinds to protect the windows from avalanches. I leave mine open year round, and nobody else does. Hence they picked mine. Anyway, the other day I noticed on the ground two eggs shells cracked open, but with nothing else. Now throughout the day every hour and a half both parents fly taking turns flying into the nest with food in their beak. It’s nice to see these parent birds doting on their offspring. Some thing you don’t see in some harsh parts of nature. It’s still early, so I haven’t heard any chirping but when the parents are sitting on my balcony, they sing to each other. I’m looking forward to seeing the babies.
I use the mixture as hand cream and it makes a huge difference. Thank you!
I have a old 1957 ford chipper with a v8 292 y block in it. For sale in great condition
Giggle Giggle ... We call ours the Death Chipper AND we understand why the industry called it a Chuck -n- Duck
Always wanted one of these, but last month I found an old Maskiner ERJO PTO drum chipper. 1983 model and now on my 1976 IH 674. Works great but not as old or as savage as this beast, well made old tools rule. Cheers
I just picked up a 1962 Fitchburg ... I looks exactly like this one .
see that white flash going into the chipper....... That's Gary Tweet the grounds man as a branch grabbed Gary's lee raiders leather work belts HAT... ......RIP Gary... He was a big breakfast guy on work days, so we left on his tombstone a remembrance for him that reads. "HERE LAYS GRAY A LOVER OF A GOOD DAYS WORK AFTER BIG BREAKFAST , ...NOW HE'S JUST SHREADED TWEET!!"
This model you have shown is not an early 50s example. A Heinz 57 of a few decades parts combo. Chippers were not any wizardry of engineering. They didn't evolve till the market could support manufacturing. Multi brands came out around same time. Just out of WW2 chippers were not very tech.
I saw this video in my highschool health class.
If you healed within 3 to 6 hours, you have special genetic powers.
Funniest thing is that a big pine limb will make them wheelie when unattached to a truck. Its hysterical. Used to run a slightly newer one with a big exhaust leak.. it was deafening.
Thank you for the information about finger cots (finger condoms, LOL). I bought a few boxes. but the drawback is that I can't scroll on the laptop with them on. The benefit is that I can wash the dishes with them on and my finger stays dry. I have been using bandaids and Desitin- which is thick diaper rash cream- its very thick and stays in place all night when I use a bandaid and the cracks usually heal overnight but come back the next day. Bandaids with Desitin works better for me as they cover less area and my fingertips stay free, but the bandaid leave a sticky mess on my nails.
Tipjar, Say we have this old chipper. Link here. ua-cam.com/video/xYl96ABR93w/v-deo.html Anyway its not feeding itself. Any thoughts? Thank you
Thanks for posting this. I picked up what appears to be the same chipper. Oil bath filter, funk clutch and all. Hitch is the same as well. I have been trying to figure out if these haventhe ford 223 or 262 in them. Are you pretty confident thst is a 223?
The only down side to these vintage machines is the lack of health and saftey stop bars to stop the feed rollers, thus preventing an accident if your cloathes get caught up in the branches, these are chuck and duck machines, needless to say very dangerious as they have no way of stopping the branch or the person being pulled into the machine.
The self feeders have a way higher ratio of accidents than an old drum. Hence why they are still made today. An old drum and competent persons/work safe ect equal few accidents. People today are not very smart overall. Google mechanical advice tainted degree in bs. 99.9 % of drum video's are lacking with little knowelage
People will find a way of killing themselves whatever they're doing. Cheers
What are you feeding them
Better get that Fram filter off of it!
I think the chicks was not abandoned by their mother..may the mother just roaming around looking for food, then someone saw the nest with these chicks....believing it was abandoned..
What do you feed them though?
Enriched parakeet pellets softened with water.
Nice I e got 2 of these units I picked up at county sales
Who’s here because they can’t hardly button their shirts and pants?
Vicks vapor rub and plastic or latex gloves , go to bed and wake up brand new 👌
Great video!
Thank you I really needed this
Aveeno is a dream...my skin HURT in the desert
Good old machine made to last;
I'll be looking for one of these
Theres a company called Altec who still makes these.
yep NC last i had to deal with them, they bought out alot of Asplundh patents. bucket trucks and all
I just bought this exact chipper but with 4 cylinder and it's a beast just like yours
OMG I have one a few years newer than this one.
I have a V8 mine
I saw one for sale the other day with a 221 v8 flathead
I only have 3 or 4 fingertips that have not cracked
Do you hear that? The shipper says it’s hungry! FEED IT!
I soaked off my nail polish mom and my fingers ended up getting extremely dry this is pretty helpful
This isn't a zebra finch...
I've raised finches before, including hand feeding new hatchlings. Four things that became apparent after a sad failure: Always place material in the nest the babies can grab onto, otherwise they could get deformed feet from smooth bowls or tissue nests. And it's important that the babies receive the first early meals from mom because they have something in their transfer that affects their immune system. Try and make sure that when the babies open their eyes, they see you. If they saw mommy first, they might act shy when offered food by you. And finally, when the babies get pinfeathers (blood feathers) try not to handle them. It's a painful experience for them at this stage.
