How much of a lift you have? Was given a yj thats on 33's. I believe it has a 2.5" lift, but not sure. I kind of want to go down to 31's since it cant get out of its own way over 50 with the 33s.

im actually rebuilding a Honda D17A2 (2001-2005 ) Civic DX/LX/HX/EX Sedan & coupe (4d/2Dr) mine is a 2door VTEC 5 speed) #savethemanuals ... all aftermarket parts from oil pump ,crank, rods (700HP) ARP rodbolts /headstuds / flywheel/Pressurepalte ECT. // High Compression D16ZC TwinCam Pistons (75mm STD) new rings / rods / block guard (for open deck Hondas) meant for turbo-charging) but im doing a high reving NA build! new timng belt water pump, all new crank. cams sensors / Coils .. everything.. complete gasket set kit. new everything.. and sleving block

@ 12:50 wel on newer motors ( well Hondas and Acura, specificaly the honda B-series Twin cam (and the baby version D-Series single cam) (most NON-VTEC) but some ARE VTEC) the hondas usual have the oil come into the bearings, in the crank, and tehn also go through teh crank fully then will go into the rod journal bearings and then some rods also hav oil holes that force pressureized oil up th rods (1-4 or 1-6 on I4/I6 and or V6 , flat 6 etc.. and ther will be another hole for teh wrist pins on each small end for teh piston/wrist pin for the piston, but then also below that near the small end about 1/4 to half inch from teh wrist pin on each rod wil hav another tiny hole that will (i think) shoots oil to the side of the (either) the piston skirt or the cylinder/s Steel sleve ?? and that is how engines that dont have piston oil squirters ( The B-Series VTEC DOHC motors have em ( aka teh B16A /B16B / B16A2 & B16A3 ( i had one in my 1994 Honda Civic Del Sol VTEC ) its had em.. and also the B17 92-93 Integra GS-R and teh B18C1/C5 and JDM B18C-R (in Japan) also have the piston oil squirters) but most have the hole in the (near) top the rods that squirt oil on piston while also inside the small end to oil teh writspins ( pressed) (dam you honda, making psiton replacments harder for me!!!) lol

Anyone have the part number for the M62 Supercharger?

I really think those shims need to stay there. By taking them off you increased the slope from yoke to yoke. I recommend you get yourself a magnetic angle gauge and get your pinion slope and driveshaft slope... you probably need a thicker shim to compensate your slopes.

I am the proud owner of a 1984 XJ Wagoner that I pulled out of the woods where it had sat broken for 10 years. A little (a lot really) cleaning, 2 push rods, a wrecking yard carb and front oil seal and it was up and running. That was in 2014. Since then it has been my daily driver for this past 10 years and I really like it. Last year the Automatic went out so I am going through the motor (2.5L) and tyranny now. I thought mine was rough, but after seeing your xj here it makes mine look like showroom shape. Anyway you have giving me hope that I can finish mine and get it back on the road soon. When I saw the thumbnail, as a Jeep Comanche owner myself, I had my guns drawn ready to go blazing on the dude! But seeing that he's a fellow ComancheClub member, and that he made his mods reversible PLUS 3D scanned parts to help the community, he gets mad respect from me! And yes, I get the same comments also; people complimenting me about how a great "fabber" I am, making a Cherokee pickup truck, until I tell them it's all factory and then they're really speechless! But we're really fortunate for such a low production vehicle (anywhere between 200000 and 220000 made) to have such support from both resourceful members, and aftermarket suppliers, notably Key Parts for offering us more and more body parts!
