Takes me back yeeeeears. So wild its been that long. And I wasn't even young when this dropped so there's not that young nostalgia. Still. Xbox 360 days, new game. Early twenties. Just care free.
this song makes me sad. But also nostalgic. I didnt even play this game that long ago lol, i played it 2 weeks ago on an emulator. So its strange how i feel nostalgic over this
Wow, this is beautiful... It reminds me of Moby's "God Moving Over the Face of the Water", in both style (fast, repetitive piano loop + angelic pads) and title. Do you think it might have been an inspiration?
I think they do different things, and the soundtracks both suit each game for what it does. ACVI has so many good tracks. But 4A have ones that stick in your head.
@@PopcornMax179Also not really comparable to the mature tone and of AC6 has it fits 2023. I agree ac4 and fa music being better, it's something i want to listen over and over again but fromsoft just played it safe with a new title after so many years. Want i really want is formula front ost, that shit slapss
I never did finish this game back then, but I do remember that the young high school me loved playing it every time I came back home... The moment I touched AC6 I really did say "welcome back old friend".
Just finished AC6 with all 3 endings & even though that game got so many things right, when it comes to the soundtrack AC4:FA is still remains the undisputed king
So, after finishing every armored core game, i thought its finally ended. The endless war i fought as ravens and then lynxes. The friend that i lost, the enemy that i shot down. The peace that we all fighting for. I thought we finally reached it. But alas, i once again underestimated humans nature for conflict. Wake up, brothers and sisters. beyond the karman line... beyond the grasp of the corperations... beyond their pointless and glutonous wars... beyond even the cradles... beyond even the loss and hoplessness thats been my life... and rained down upon by the assault cells that are now finally in sight... my overbooster chokes out its last embers, and my next, the laughing stock of my peers, tailored by me to sail the orbit of this planet thats been given up on by almost everyone... a dream that hasnt entered sleeping heads since the days of orca... its engine, roars to life... and i look to the bars of the cage... rifle in hand... and let out a silent scream of rage, anguish, and most shockingly... joy... i know i have no chance... how could i not... dozens of lynx couldnt have dreamed of attempting this... but despite my trembling hand and mind screaming to my body to abort, to run and live another day... i also know that everything before now has been no life at all... that here is the best place i could ask to die... with my pride and joy... and my eyes towards the stars, like the astronomers and poets of old... ... Surface Skimmer... engaging combat mode...
Hanezeve Caradhina vibe
never fails to make me cry.
:)
no beatdrop... no awesomeness... just the feels that this is not a happy story.
Very Similar to God moving on the face of waters by Moby. Great tracks both.
FromSoftware music changed me
By far my favorite AC game and soundtrack. FromSoftware please bring this back!
Why can't Armored Core VI have music like this ;/
Love this piano. Could high-key be a Pokémon theme. Would’ve been sick in Black and White.
To this day, one of the most mesmerizing menu themes I've ever heard. That heartbeat...
Wish this was the theme in Armored Core 6
It’s too human

One of 3 songs I want to play if i pass away.
Humanity? I don’t see humanity anywhere, Otsdarva.

The base line sounds like a heartbeat The piano, thoughts
Piano(s) the opening bit is dueling pianos
wild that this song is a whole 2 minutes, when the title screen will cut back to the intro if you try to listen to more than a 4th of it
God this made me emotional

Oh wow I thought the same and left a comment a while ago. Neat to see someone see the same similarity I did revisiting this song.
Such a beautiful theme for a game in which you assist to and commit the worst atrocities ever witnessed by mankind. I love the contrast.
Armored core 6 released, and I can confidently say 4As soundtrack is better
4A will be hard to beat.

I'm sorry i was 13 years too late
You found your way here. That's all that matters.
15 years for me
It was worth it!
How can I be nostalgic for a game I just beat?
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE THINKING THIS.
Just finished AC6 with all 3 endings & even though that game got so many things right, when it comes to the soundtrack AC4:FA is still remains the undisputed king
Hardest agree.
621.... You found a friend
“You flew just out of reach….Buddy.”
"There's only one person who can keep up with me!"
Saw a Video of someone fighting Rusty while using FA ost, and this song pops out while Rusty using Terminal Armor.
"This new purpose...it must be powerful
I need someone to mod this into AC6 assembly menu ASAP.
I think turn it around might fits the atmosphere better imo
Ready to fly ravens?
Preloaded and ready.
This song is the "Plin plin plon" of armored core series.
🗿
Gone for so long... but now only 2 weeks remain until a new AC game. Feels unreal
Me just trying to decide on what to buy for my mech. Game music: Here, have an aetherial spiritual out-of-body experience.
"Time for you to see yourself in 3rd person"
@@Alchem1st75 mfw i fucking die and unlock third person (it's an armored core reference)
It is almost upon us. Our time to shine comes once more. As both Lynxes and Ravens, we rejoice, ready ourselves, and wait... for Armored Core VI.
On this barren and desecrated planet, *Someone is always moving on the surface.*
Beep boop
just finished all 3 endings after hearing about ac6, can't wait

Listen to Moby - "God moving over the face of the waters", this is the Mech version of that song!!!!
Cant wait for armoured core 6 this music get me dang exited!!!!!!
Thanks Vaati
Reminds me a lot of the song that plays at the end of the movie Heat. god moving over the face of the waters by Moby
Why is this song so sad...........i suppose someone is always moving on the surface.

OMG I WAS NOT EXPECTING THERE TO BE AN ARTCORE SONG IN THIS GAME
Every time my neurons activate this song plays in my head

Beautiful song just in time for Armored Core VI
