Swain is absolutely not a dictator. That's why he established the trifarix. Because he knew power would corrupt a single person (like it did with Darkwill). He created the trifarix to keep each other in check (like Raum, for example)

I think you have the timeline all wrong, I believe arcane takes place before the first noxian invasion of Ionia. The man could be Vladimir.

I would like to make Mel as the protagonist for s1 to connect from what Arcane left off, then either Riven, Katarina, Samira, or Cassiopeia for s2 to spread the next narrative either Demacia, Ionia or Shurima.

Swain will more likely play the role of a mentor to Mel like Ambessa did to Caitlyn (except their alliance will probably last). In that vein, Mel and Katarina are probably going to have a lot of interactions due to Kat's strong alliance with Swain after the Katarina comic that set up The Mageseeker.

I really like Swain as a character, but i don't think he will be the protagonist. Mostly because he won't sell skins for riot, and because he will probably become somewhat more of a villain in the future, and i don't think a villain would fit the protagonist role. In my opinion i think Riven will be the main point of view, or maybe Katarina.

I really don’t think Swain is a relatable protagonist though. I think showing his rise to power is perfect, BUT from the perspective of another character/s that would work for/against swain or multiple perspectives.

While not entirely necessary for the show they can connect Singed to the first invasion to explain where he gained most of his money for his research after getting kicked out of Piltover and before his deal with Silco.

It really, really, really should be set in Ionia. Noxus' story doesn't really get interesting until AFTER the Ionian invasion

I personally think that Katarina actually should be the protagonist of this series: she has ties to every character, the trifarix, the black rose, the assas1n guild, and shes more marketable also. In fact, before jinx, she was the main protagonist of LoL, appearing at the center of all ads, images, before it was changed by jinx. She could be the center of everything in this noxus series. Though I'd like an Arcane approach to have like 6 or 7 seven protagonist that, while the story progresse, they meet. So it could be, Swain, Darius, Draven, Katarina, (her siblings) Talon, Cassiopeia, LeBlanc, Vladimir, and i think we really need Mel to be there in house Medarda. Maybe is not possible in the first season, but with a second i can imagine every one of them with screen time. Definitely I'll want Mordekaiser to be treated as Janna (in the background), and the first flashbacks like Arcane (the war) should be the Jonia war. I would also like to see Annie and Rell, and maybe Blair, Elise and Samira because they are or were Black Rouses weapons. But I can't tell. Leaving Sion, Kled, Riven to better be in a Jonia series. I really wish this noxis series has more length in general, so you could shape every character in it (maybe not totally, but just appearing is great, we don't need to see Cassiopeia become the snake or Elise the spider, leave that to upcoming Shadow Isles and Shurima series)

What I want most from this upcoming series isn't related to the story itself but rather the tone. I hope it captures the essence of the first few seasons of Game of Thrones, where sword fights and physical battles serve as a backdrop to the real conflict, the political and influence-driven war for the throne

So in season one, we see that shimmer already delivered using cargo through the hex gate, just don’t know where it goes. But if it’s Noxus, then i guess Singed influence already established

It same question as will u kill baby hitler if Victor can travel back in time why dont he bring Victor and talk to him. Just one bad story telling but hopium make it look good

This would also make sense to the question I had - If Ekko "replaced" the Ekko from the timeline he got himself into.. and no two of the same could be in the same timeline, who did Jayce "replace"? Well, if Jayce was moved into future of his own timeline, where Viktor won, then Jayce does not exist anymore and only the shell [with the hammer] remained, there is nothing to replace.. he is literally an anomaly. That also then works fine with the fact that we saw the same rune twice [apparently the only way where Viktor could show the result to himself]. But I do still think Viktor is the one giving the runes to Jayce in childhood but with a twist! What if Viktor managed to reach "time travel" only way-way later into the doomed timeline, even further than when he spoke to Jayce about the past. At the point where two of them talk in the future, he saw what he must do but could not yet achieve it. So the thing would go like - Jayce is in the future of his own timeline.. talking with Viktor that came to realization what has he done, and what he must do further down the line (in his own future) in order to stop it from happening in the past, before the clash. Then the "future-future" Viktor, when he is older, is the one that time travels and gives Jayce all the different runes in hope of reaching that very point lol

I'm simply in love with the amount of references and easter eggs this map has,I hope every season gets a unique map as interesting as this one.Also, I don't think EVERY detail means something, so the marks on the new minions are maybe just a way to represent the more agressive vibe of Noxus, but not any faction/character/story specifically.

I think it really just proves that Season 2 underwent some rewrites and this really wasn't the direction they had in mind at the beginning. I think that mage was always meant to be just a mage, somewhat evocative of Ryze for people to be like *point Leo meme* "that's my EQEQEQ!" and then for it not to matter. The biggest proof is really just Season 1 of Arcane never using proper nouns in its' script before it's "forced canonization" and then in Season 2 they drop them all the time. That's an example of something changing in the creative process that Season 1 was not privy to and a reason I don't like thinking that the two have a direct stream of conscious ideas winding there way to an end.

I'm not sure if is about "trifarix vs Black rose" I think is more fitting to consider it as "Noxus vs Old Noxus/Mordekaiser" Because we know that The trifarix is not exactly enemy of the Black rose, and the Black rose wants the power but is not exactly enemy of the trifarix. They have benefits and is obvious that the Guile will be a Black Rose member. so that's why we have Black rose on each side and trifarix on each side. because is not about a VS but about Strategies and Alliances. The old Noxian language represents Demons and Mordekaiser. the new side represents the actual state of noxus having the Black rose in everywhere but who rules are the trifarix.
