While not entirely necessary for the show they can connect Singed to the first invasion to explain where he gained most of his money for his research after getting kicked out of Piltover and before his deal with Silco.
Honestly if they do a 2nd ionian invasions tory it would make more sense (timeline wise) to just add the chemical warfare there. That way you still get to see the lenghts noxus will go to win while keeping true to aecane seemingly having introduced Sinfed to Noxus very recently
Swain will more likely play the role of a mentor to Mel like Ambessa did to Caitlyn (except their alliance will probably last). In that vein, Mel and Katarina are probably going to have a lot of interactions due to Kat's strong alliance with Swain after the Katarina comic that set up The Mageseeker.
I would like to make Mel as the protagonist for s1 to connect from what Arcane left off, then either Riven, Katarina, Samira, or Cassiopeia for s2 to spread the next narrative either Demacia, Ionia or Shurima.
So in season one, we see that shimmer already delivered using cargo through the hex gate, just don’t know where it goes. But if it’s Noxus, then i guess Singed influence already established
That's possible! But either way I don't believe the connection between Singed and Emystan will stay, I think it doesn't fit the new Singed all that much :p I could be wrong tho
What I want most from this upcoming series isn't related to the story itself but rather the tone. I hope it captures the essence of the first few seasons of Game of Thrones, where sword fights and physical battles serve as a backdrop to the real conflict, the political and influence-driven war for the throne
Gonna have to disagree. No way swain is the main character. He’ll appear but either as an antagonist or a mentor. I’m betting main characters will be Mel, Katarina, Darius, and Draven, maybe Annie
Okay hear me out… Kled. In every battle scene, there is Kled. In every campsite, there are crude drawings of Kled. In the aftermath of any battle, there’s graffiti of Skaarl as well as Kled. No explainations No reasoning No logic Just Kled Maybe tacos… But mostly Kled. Ye
Okay to be a bit more coherent if you’re doing anything war-related where Noxus is involved, Kled’s presence as a memetic source of levity amongst the lower ranks of the Noxian military is a distinct facet of the culture that I feel should be represented. Furthermore, it is both very easy to put into background shots and environment details and paradoxically a perfect recurring detail that the show never spends time to explain thus making Kled a massive inside joke for the Noxian and LoL playerbase alike. It is honestly at its best when you don’t elaborate on their presence and leave them as a walking Big Lipped Alligator Moment.
I really like Swain as a character, but i don't think he will be the protagonist. Mostly because he won't sell skins for riot, and because he will probably become somewhat more of a villain in the future, and i don't think a villain would fit the protagonist role. In my opinion i think Riven will be the main point of view, or maybe Katarina.
My money is on Katarina and Mel being the central-most characters (Vi and Jinx-level importance). I imagine Darius, Swain, and Riven will be notable secondary protagonists (somewhere between Viktor/Jayce and Ekko). Other champs that I imagine will be relevant but not core (SInged/Heimerdinger level) will be Draven, Samira, and Talon.
Swain is absolutely not a dictator. That's why he established the trifarix. Because he knew power would corrupt a single person (like it did with Darkwill). He created the trifarix to keep each other in check (like Raum, for example)
From Swain's champion insights: "Swain is a dictator who’s able to enforce his will because he’s made a Faustian bargain" Yes he's one of three but he's still one imo
@twisted35 well. If that's what it says. Perhaps he's more like a dictator because the other 2 branches of the trifarix don't rule the nation in a common sense but rather their sectors
I don't think he would show up, but I would love having Kled as a comic relief. KInda what heimer was in arcane, well kinda what yordles were always meant to be, magic clowns
I really don’t think Swain is a relatable protagonist though. I think showing his rise to power is perfect, BUT from the perspective of another character/s that would work for/against swain or multiple perspectives.
I personally think that Katarina actually should be the protagonist of this series: she has ties to every character, the trifarix, the black rose, the assas1n guild, and shes more marketable also. In fact, before jinx, she was the main protagonist of LoL, appearing at the center of all ads, images, before it was changed by jinx. She could be the center of everything in this noxus series. Though I'd like an Arcane approach to have like 6 or 7 seven protagonist that, while the story progresse, they meet. So it could be, Swain, Darius, Draven, Katarina, (her siblings) Talon, Cassiopeia, LeBlanc, Vladimir, and i think we really need Mel to be there in house Medarda. Maybe is not possible in the first season, but with a second i can imagine every one of them with screen time. Definitely I'll want Mordekaiser to be treated as Janna (in the background), and the first flashbacks like Arcane (the war) should be the Jonia war. I would also like to see Annie and Rell, and maybe Blair, Elise and Samira because they are or were Black Rouses weapons. But I can't tell. Leaving Sion, Kled, Riven to better be in a Jonia series. I really wish this noxis series has more length in general, so you could shape every character in it (maybe not totally, but just appearing is great, we don't need to see Cassiopeia become the snake or Elise the spider, leave that to upcoming Shadow Isles and Shurima series)
Its 100% not gonna be noxus. They are gonna do either demacia or ionia. Noxus is going to be an overarching threat in this series with their story told through the lense of other territories before giving them their own series or movie that brings all the building subplots together. Like a league of legends infinity war
With all of the stuff regarding Mordekaiser and the Black Rose, I have to disagree. The Katarina comic is a really good taste of how much rich storytelling potential is in Noxus. I also really want an Ionian series, but it makes more sense that the Invasion would be the focus of a later season in the Noxus show that transitioned into its own show.
@@Yvädastra No. If you've actually read the lore, you'd know the most interesting story in modern Noxian history, is Swain's rise to power. But you can't tell that story without telling the story of the Ionian invasion, the place and event where Swain lost his arm. Starting in Noxus, then Ionia, is telling the story backwards. A lot of Noxian champions' backstories begin during and after the Ionian invasion, because the Ionian invasion plays a significant role in how modern Noxus is formed, including Katarina.

@ after all, we’re not the one cooking so that’s their problem probably
i think keeping up with the themes of two cities...the story might focus on noxus and demacia at the same time

Honestly I just fiending for Jhin to get gloriously rendered by fortiche
I will add Xin Zhao and Alistar as they fight in Noxus arenas.
Gonna have to disagree. No way swain is the main character. He’ll appear but either as an antagonist or a mentor.

So, Swain is Doctor Doom?
Swain's ego and pride aren't that big
I really don’t think Swain is a relatable protagonist though. I think showing his rise to power is perfect, BUT from the perspective of another character/s that would work for/against swain or multiple perspectives.
Swain/Riven
What I want for riot is TO NOT FUCK UP LORE like arcane did like my god please. Dont fuck the lore more

I think you have the timeline all wrong, I believe arcane takes place before the first noxian invasion of Ionia. The man could be Vladimir.
Vladimir? That feels so random
@@twisted35 He's a member of the Black Rose, it makes more sense than Swain Imo.
It really, really, really should be set in Ionia. Noxus' story doesn't really get interesting until AFTER the Ionian invasion
