I have the Phoenix because I really love the views. It reminds me of a private jet. As a bonus, it's very good for multiplayer. Two turrets and a snub fighter, plus some seats for a co-pilot... You can't go wrong 😊

Damn man, glad I saw your video, I don't have much and dolars are quite expensive for me, I always used my Mustang Alpha, but I saw this ship and I thought it would be a good idea to switch ships, glad I haven't, otherwise I would be stuck without quantum travel.

Really miss when you could fly a Constellation ship and the hud was this stable, and not tanking your FPS.

I'd love to use the Archimedes but I'm thinking I'm gonna have to use the Merlin. I'm intending to use my MSR as a ferry ship and it seems that the Archimedes is just a hair too big for that. I'm still doing research but that's what it seems like. I've seen plenty of proof of fitting a Merlin, but no video or photo evidence of an archimedes

Late to the Party, but those spots in the docking collar of the Hammerhead are suppose to be suit lockers for EVA. It doubles as an Airlock when not docked.

400i vs Phoenix, both are good ships. The 400i is more of a personal yacht. The phoenix is more of a utility shilp. Its just what you prefer to use.

Cyclone is my absolute fav and been running it with the cutlass black. The thing is a beast for all terrain driving cause i climbed a 75 degree incline on the mountain side without slipping at all. Also it can maintain temps at -80°C anything below -80°C then you will start to freeze.

Noob here, does buying a ship as a warbond. Does that mean you will not get the ship physically?

Doesn't the 400i come with a 325a? I have pledged two but only have one 325a. The 400i turrets are terrible. The view from just the back the roof and the bottom have limited movement. The phoenix has more dps and the turrets are useful.

No mistake made. The Phoenix has more utility than the 400i, which is more compact and faster. For me personally, the 400i has the perfect size and perfect interior to feel comfortable in. Anything smaller and I feel kinda cramped, anything bigger and I feel like I'm drowning in unnecessary room.

You mean the E1. I love that ship though. And I never saw it as "Tesla" spaceport, though it would make sense being an authoritarian culture.

The Phoenix is a MUCH better choice over the 400i, you absolutely made the right choice! I LOVE the way the 400i looks on the outside but I find it cramped internally and not a luxury at all. The Phoenix does need a luxury bathroom and I hope CIG will make that single seat a bathroom instead. Personally, I think the 400i is one of the worst ships in the verse! I want to love it so bad because it is also the best looking ship but it is just awful in a fight! With only 2 S3 pilot controlled hard points and 2 turrets that are both blocked with very limited combat range it is one of the only ships where you will actually need to run for your life even up against NPC ships. It is quite tanky but it seriously needs to have its hard points bumped up! As far as pilot controlled weapons the 400i has 2 S3 hard points and the Phoenix has 4 S5 hardpoints giving it a massive amount more firepower!

I’ve found it to be a good practice to uninstall after a brief check in once every year or two. Keeps me sane.

😎Another glaring difference: The steel will have life support adequate to sustain at least 20 souls, no other Cutlass comes close. I also own a Kraken, which was what primarily compelled me to buy the Steel. My Valk would take up two Medium pads, the Steel only requires one.

Don't forget your tractor beam during the mission -- they can be really handy. For instance, if you're going in without a gun, or without much ammo, or even missing armor, once you shoot a bad guy or two, you don't need to run out from cover to loot useful items from them. Swap to your tractor beam and bring that corpse and/or their weapon directly to you. Position it behind your cover and take what you need. (Though still be quick about it, because with the lag and de-sync, there may still be a Nine-Tail about to teleport in behind you at any moment.) This can be good for corpse retrieval too, if you die and then return to recover your things and/or finish the mission. (Assuming your corpse doesn't just disappear on you, of course.)

A quicker way would be to pile the bodies onto the lift and take them to the ship, there you can loot and drop the items directly into the ship inventory. Then you can just toss the bodies out.

I've watched many other vids where boxes just straight up fall through the world. Never seen a single one ever sit properly after being picked up. Might want to just take what you can carry.

The 'Dropship Tax' is way, way, WAY too high. If the Steel was up armored, up shielded with existing guns and store price, it would be more attractive. In game price seems more reasonable, if it can be found. The store price does not interest me what so ever.

to me this looks like one of the best starter ships, gives a few options to try different aspects of game play.

I'm so glad they added this ship so new players can get a taste of the Drake ships early on without shelling out for a Cutlass or Herald. My plan was to get the starter pack for my friend today but I guess they stopped selling it right before I got off work ;(

The Cutter really is a sweet ship for a starter. At the moment, there is no superior starter ship other (Other than the Nomad, which is double the price). The Avenger titan pulls ahead in damage, but thats all. The Gold Standard of the Cutter is the icing on the cake.

I don't own a cutter but I have died in one (failed rescue attempt) and the only 2 things that bother me is A: It looks like an angry duck B: Drake engines have a habit of randomly exploding so it scares me that they bolted them on next to the bed and the toilet

The Cutter LTI game package they had on sale was a no brainer

First mistake you made was bed logging. When you spawned back in, you were on a separate physics grid to the ship, this is why your interaction with the ship was off. The same thing happens with the Sentinal. So, for this lesson.....don't bed log!
