Hi, just so I understand the problem. The vehicle will not go on full electric? and it only works on gasoline when you drive it? if this is the case did you change the small battery 12V back in the trunk next to the main battery? Do you have any fault codes on the vehicle that comes back?

@@Bmwdiagnostics92 Hello, thank you for your answer, yes I changed a 12 V regular battery, though I didn't put in an original one but a regular one, and I took it for diagnostics, they said to change the EME, I changed it but there was no change, the car only runs on gasoline, as soon as you put it on E drive mode it starts to turn off, it doesn't run on hybrid

I see so You have changed the auxiliary battery?, just so we make sure we are talking about the same battery. there are 2 battery back in your trunk we need to make sure that you changed the small one you can also test it with measure the voltage drop if its around lower then 9V, if i remember correct it is bad. it don't need to be a original but it need to have the same capacity and you should code it in. Can the vehicle be charge? does any warnings comes up in the display? when you put it i E drive? do you have a Vin number for the vehicle? And do you have any fault codes thats come back when you put it in E drive?

@ Hello, Yes, I changed the small battery and coded it after installation, and the car charges with cables, when the hybrid is fully charged, the problem seems to have disappeared, but after it is discharged, it starts all over again, in storage mode, the electric car drives without problems, but in sport or e-drive mode, the problem appears again

Hi, Do you have more then one fault code on the EHC system? And what is the name of the fault codes? If you have water damage on the EHC control unit you should try to clean it or replace it. It is hard to tell without the fault code name.

@@Bmwdiagnostics92 Error code F25403 message (ride height vehicle ,7.0.1) faulty, receiver damper satelite front left transmitter DIS module. F28C06 interface ICM (condition,road) signal invalid. When this errors appear, it will show Dynamic damping control failure, corner ability restricted, all 4 damper satelite is offline, VDM error, ICM error. The car can only drive in Comfort mode, sport, sport+ is not available. The error disappear after parking in a dry garage for a few days. The car is in normal state again. I will come back after a recheck on my car later for the last errors. The errors usually pops up in rain or wet weather. After a wet trip, when I am driving slowly and park my car in front of the garage, suddently it can pop up many Dynamic damping control failure. Corner ability restricted errors within two minutes. It happens on thursday 16.01.2025. It seems to me water somewhere is moving and touch the circuit board. Where is the EHC board located in my car?

@@dinhvanpham8102 I see. You can find the EHC control unit in the rear right side of the vehicle. Do you have sun roof? sometimes water can build up in the rear because of the drain is clogged. you should also read the vehicle if you have cominication with all the dempers some times the cables can be damage if the seal broke. You can also chech the rid height leveler is okey, it is a black box with a plastic arm. you can find it on the suspention rear and front.

@@Bmwdiagnostics92 Thank you very much. Yes i have sunroof. You are right the water must come in from the drain. I will check the drain. My level sensors was very rusted, I have cleaned all 4 level sensors, remove all rust and add some water resistant oil, all level sensors moves freely. I have calibrate my level sensors, so the level sensors are okay. I am very happy and appreciate your help. 😀😀😀👍👍👍👍

@ Today I have run many tests on my car with my new Launch X431 CRP 919X BT. After checking all Damp satelites and clear codes. After 2,5 hours the Dynamic damping failure pops up repeatly every 10 seconds telling me the front left damper satelite is the faulty one. Now I have to order a new one. If the car workshop has knowledge how to find the error why my new installed turbocharger does not work in two years. My scanner 1. Tells me my turbocharger is not calibrated. 2. Big leakage on the turbo air charge hose. I have replaced the two turbo air charger hoses. My turbocharger works but not perfect, because it is not calibrated. I have to replaced the boost pressure solenoid , replace the electric valve , replace a 7,5 cm 3,5 mm vacuum hose to wastgate, replace all vacuum hoses, the hose was tired up 1,5 cm leaking, replace map sensor glogged and not work, take out intake manifold and clean it properly and EGR too. Clean the intercooler, clean the DPF. Now my engine has got full power back. 3 workshops have charged me over 4300 pound, the can not solve my problems. Knowledge and know how to use a scanner to detect and reveal error is worth gold.

Yes but you need to fix the water leak first before replacing anything. But after replaceing the EHC it is back to normal. In some cases you can be lucky and safe it with alkohol or break cleaner but most likely you need a new one. Also remember to program the vehicle after replacing the control unite. You can use ISTA+

@ clean using clean alkohol, dryit, eliminate the problem with water, delete all errors in module finally working - 4 hours and solve the problem

@ Did you solve your problem by cleaning the EHC control unit? All around my EHC it is dry, no sign of water in my trunk! I have bought an electronic clean spray box and isolation tape, dont know where to use it.

Yes I waited for at least 30 minutes and I have no fault

Hi, In this case a battery reset was the solution. If you are having a simular problem, just try to take a wreath inbeetween the negative cable and the positive cable and hold it for 1-2 min and then place them away from the battery for around 30min. after 30 min connect them back to the battery again and turn on the vehicle.

Hi, have you checked the "Vibration Damper Flywheel" in the front of the engine? and you can also check the engine mounts. Does the engine run rough?

I replaced the tensioner a week after writing the previous comment. The noise has improved though still noticeable on cold starts.

Why did you replace the BCM? If you did replace the struts you need to go to service function and I think it is on Body try to find tailgate and see if you can relearn it. If you replace the BCM you need to program the vehicle with the Yellow ethernet cable and you need to put the Icom in to lan before you but it into the obd2 and then you need å charger that can deliver 13v and the ignition have to be on. Go to control unit replacement and work your way through there select BCM.

You should check the back right corner of your Bmw f25 sometimes water builds up and has no way to escape. The tailgate module should be around there. Check the inside for water damage.

@@Bmwdiagnostics92 the replacement one doesn't communicate. The original one was completely submerged in water. I bought another one and it still doesn't see it

@@voffchik26 you need to program/code the new module in to the car. It is recommanded to use Ista for this kind of work. But I think a non bmw software also can do the work.

@@Bmwdiagnostics92 I totally agree with you, however I was told that even if the module hasn't been coded or programmed as long as it's the same part number it should communicate ( at least being recognized by ISTA in the module tree) with the scanning software. In my case no software even see it. Says communication error with the module

@@voffchik26 did a bmw dealer tell you that? On newer BMWs you can't expect it to be that easy. If you replace a control unit. And the rep manuels in ista tell you to program/code the vehicle you need to do it. But if the prosess can't be completted. You should find a wiring diagram and check all power and grounds if that is okey you should try to read the communication lines with a osilloscope. I hope the water issue was taken care of before you replaced the module.

No but you will get a lot of error from the Electric power steering. And the Electric motor on EPS will not work. So your steering wheel can be heavy to turn

It just happened to my x3 f25 I think , error code d01b2a cant be erased , and triggers basically every electrical error possible when driving the car ..but the steering still works fine ..im gonna take a look under the car, hopefully find something @@Bmwdiagnostics92

Hi you need to replace the wiring harness on that side of the vehicle. Its is a 10-20 hours job.

@ nope, I took it one by one. Don’t do it by colours on wire. If I remember correctly. It’s different colours on wire to headlamp, abs pump and some other things

You need to turn on and off the ignition and hold the wiper control arm down for some sec.
