Cautionary Tale the Bucket gets a "Squib"
Переглядів 12728 днів тому
the Bucket talks about a squib. A squib is when a bullet gets stuck in a barrel and causing an obstruction which can cause a catastrophic failure, and causing injury. He caught this rare phenomenon on video. Always have a gun smith clear the obstruction (Like Knapp weaponry). #gunsofinstagram #gun #edc #ccw #pewpew

You're welcome. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Any idea which holster does it fit?
Sorry I don't. Hopefully someone will have an answer. Thanks for supporting the channel!
This and a switch = PERFECTION!
That sounds like a great pair. Thanks for supporting the channel!
I concur with your review, I owned one, and was shocked at it's inaccuracy. I had pitched a phone book on the ground and wanted to see how well it would penetrate, and was stunned at the difficulty hitting the book. I took it to a local gun smith, and he told me that it used a clock type spring, and that it was untunable, and unfixable. I was very glad to get it out of my possession. To be fair, it was a good idea, (11 shot with one in the chamber, small enough to fit easy in a back pocket, and fairly reliable to fire.), but the accuracy or lack there of, was too much to rely on.
Yeah, I think your story is the norm, not the exception. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Anyone know if this is compatible with the lakeline threaded barrels on a G2C? They're a half inch longer than the regular 3 inch barrels.
Hammer fired Sigs are my favorite pistols. My 229 is 30yr old and still works like new
They are so great. The 229 is my favorite of the whole group. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Sweet. Can you rack your slide with the mag removed? A relative has an older PT 22 with the mag disconnect & by jingo it won't rack unless the mag is inserted.
Mine could, but racking that slide is so hard period!
If a gun don’t work with the magazine, removed, throw it away and go buy another gun
I would not carry or use a gun for personal protection that had a magazine disconect safety. But I don't think I could throw away my High Power.
@ yea, i can understand that
SW Model 910......one of my safe queens and most un-favorite pistol to shoot. I pity the cops that carried the 3rd Gen Smiths.
Sorry, you don't like yours. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Love all steel frames. Star M-30 another good one. Heavy as a tank but so what.
A lot of people poo-poo Spanish guns. I am with you this Astra and the Star M-30, in my opinion, are good guns. Thanks for supporting the channel!
This particular Taurus is not a Glock.Clone it's a beretta 92 Clone
This gun does not work on a falling block lock-up system like a Beretta 92...
Bought one at a gunshow. Mine still drops the hammer even when on safe when the trigger is pulled. Sometimes the hammer falls when firing where I have to pull it back again to reset it.
They are a staple at gun shows and sometimes you can get a real good deal. Thanks for supporting the channel
Nice review. I really like mouse guns and this is another fine example.
Mouse guns are so cool. They always make me giggle! Thanks for supporting the channel!
Cool little gun , it sucks how much 25 acp costs now. My friend's grandfather had a titan years ago , he would put it back in the box after he carried through the day
Yeah 25acp is expensive, and getting harder to find in stores. But I have a soft spot in my heart for 25! Thanks for supporting the channel!
25 ACP was the premiere urban cartridge...
Definitely loved by people wanting to be armed on a budget in the 70's-and 80's
@theBucketshallnotbeinfringed Absolutely.
I’m sorry but zamak and high quality do not belong in the same sentence together.
I understand the sentiment. Zamack is not known as the highest quality material. The fit ans finish of the gun is very nice for a budget firearm was where I was going with the statement.
I took some leather and made a pocket for some of my boxer briefs for that 25 shockingly effective as well as the pistol itself very reliable and fun
Sounds like you came up with a unique way to carry this little firearm. Thanks for supporting the channel!
👍😎
GX4 SQUAD ❤
Your Charter Arms Undercover .38, from the 1970's, was a much sought after mini-blaster that many cops carried as a back-up piece. I was a cop during the 70's when these economical revolvers hit the market. In those days, cops were lacking in pay, so most of us did the part-time work circuit. That was how I got my first Charter Arms, the Undercoverette, chambered in .32 long. This was my back-up all the way to retirement. It was the only Charter Arms small frame revolvers left, all the .38 snubs had been sold out, and this .32 Undercoverette was the only one left, that I could afford. It was built on the frame as the Undercover .38 and has a 6-round cylinder. I had to qualify yearly with my back-up, and my little Undercoverette always got me qualified, with just a little help from myself. My little Charter Arms rode on my right ankle in a lined ankle holster. My Charter Arms .32 was a "silent" partner that was always at the ready in case a situation turned deadly. I'm retired now, and I still carry that Undercoverette, despite the age factor of my little snubby, it still operates very well. After retirement I sent my Undercoverette back to the Charter Arms people with a request for a refinish, and a check up on the trigger-action. My little blaster came back to me after a few weeks of visiting Charter Arms, where she was being refurbished. My back-up had withstood the hot and wet Georgia summers, the sometimes cold weather conditions and rainy cold weather conditions. A silent partner that was a witness to the worst and best days I had as a beat cop. My little .32 did well with nary a problem.
Thank you for your service, and cool story! Sounds like a cool gun, and cool that Charter Arms refurbished it for you. I have my Grandpa's old service revolver amd I cherish it. Tell the stories and I am sure you will make a family heirloom that will be cherished for decades to come. Thanks for supporting the channel
Adjusting the laser, mine seemed loose and no clicks. Should I be worried or nah?
I would not worry too much about it. But that is just me
Does cobra ca380 and Davis Industries p380 take the same clips if anyone know lmk
Yes, they're interchangeable
@ thx appreciate it so much
how much was your gun and how much is the holosun? thanks
I bought it years ago so the pric would not make much since. But go to Gun.deals and that will give you the best prices.
Tea cup grip goes crazy 😂
Yeah Bugsy likes the Tea Cup Grip. Not my choice, but it is how he likes it!
Do you know we're I order hellcat pro osp gear up california compliant
Best place I know to luck is gun.deals. kind of a pain finding the exact sku, but you can find it by sku. Let me know how it goes.
One of the best ww2 sidearms.
It is so good! I like the VIS35 the best. But that is just personal taste. Thanks for supporting the channel!
FOGHAT!!!
I thought it fit a p38 pretty well. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Does these magazine fit the apx a1 carry
Not the Carry, but all the other models it will
And she thinks it’s funny
She laughs at everything
Glad everyone came out and voted, so we would not have to hear the cackle as much!
Don’t be blinded by her lies
Everything she says is a lie!
🤮
🤢
I carried a Glock 26 for 16 years and I to saw this gun online and loved how it looked so I purchased the VP9SK with the Holosun optics and for someone who has never used an optic on a pistole all I can say is wow. I love it!!!! And for shooting again wow If I shot 100 rounds with my G26 it was not comfortable but this gun I can shoot all day.
This such an amazing gun! Thinking about getting the OR one myself!
I enjoyed this historical and informative article. I now own a 1976 vintage Colt .38 Detective Special (blued) with 2" barrel. Mine is third generation (1973-1986) with shrouded ejector, improved ramp sight, and hand filling walnut grips. The first generation Colt .38 Cobra (1950-1972) didn't have these features, but the second generation (1973-1981) did. Personally I much prefer these features. The first generation Colt .38 Cobra (unloaded) weighed 15 oz. vs. 17 oz. for the second generation. Of course, Colt's Detective Special, Agent, and Cobra were 2" or 3" barrel variants of their classic D-Frame Police Positive Special revolver (1907-1995). These are the classic .38's of "Crime Noir." They have all appeared in numerous cop and detective movies over the generations. Same for the J-Frame Smith & Wesson Model 36 and 37 Air weight Chiefs Special, and it's stainless version , the Model 60. It's lamentable the Colt .38 Cobra (first generation) used by Jack Ruby to kill Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24th, 1963 wasn't instead owned by a decent woman for personal armed defense, vs. a sinister figure who had links to organized crime and the underworld! It would have been an ideal carry gun for a woman kept discreetly inside her purse or handbag, next to the bed, or to have in an unplanned emergency such as being broken down, isolated, and alone (especially after dark) while inside her vehicle. Today I would personally select Ruger's SP-101 .38 Special revolver with 2.4" or 3.1" barrel, in stainless steel, as my personal carry and bedside .38. It may be a little heavy for a pocket or carry gun? With a good holster that would easily fit inside a jacket or coat pocket, especially during the cold winter months. Finally, Ruger's SP-101 is rated for + P .38 Special ammo, the older vintage .38's weren't .----Jim Farmer Klamath County, Oregon
Thanks Jim for the comment. I picked up a Colt Detective Special made in 1963. So much better with its all steel construction. Love that gun so much more than the Cobra. The Noir of the gun is so nice. I personally like the un-shrouded extractor, just like the way it looks. And ai unlikely to ever carry it as it is in such good shape, although I could for sure. Love your opinion on the Ruger. Great firearm for sure!
@@theBucketshallnotbeinfringed Thanks!
Oh great! Now I want an Sig P210 also. Thank you for the video.
If that gun is on your list it is a very good list indeed. Takes awhile to save up the funds, but it is such an amazing firearm for sure. It will not disapoint!
Just picked up one on GB (no waffen mark just like yours) to fill my French WW2 collection. Thanks for the video, now on to Steinel for a couple boxes of ammo.
They are such cool pieces of history. And the fact that Stienel is making ammo makes it that much cooler. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Love this gun!
People are very proud of thos one. I was a little nervous about the price tag, but was pleasantly surprised for sure!
I can't believe all the firearms you come up with that I've never seen before. Nice job.
I love different and unique guns. Thanks for reaching out and supporting my channel!
I've not seen one before , three sights to line up is different.
It is such a unique and different gun. Super excited to get my hands on this one. Thanks for your continued support!
Great pistol !!! I really enjoy mine.
It is such cool pistol. Thanks for supporting the channel!
I owned one of these back in 1993, was a street buy, came with the slide to load as well. My first concealed carry. It never jammed on me, always fired, and the recoil wasn't as bad as this guy is saying.
Glad you had such good luck. Thanks for supporting the channel!
The buckets hall not be in fridge D. Good tunes
Thanks for the compliment. And thanks for supporting the channel!
I love my Undercover. It's my EDC. Any grip for any Charter Arms will fit yours. There's a screw on the back strap of the cylinder housing. Turn it counter clockwise. They tend to screw in with usage.
Thanks for the advice! Amd for supporting the channel!
Just got one, guys in the shop were impressed that this Taurus existed with the fun box it comes in and the back straps.
I think anyone who gets their hands on one tends to think very highly of this gun. Thanks for supporting the channel!
I thought they came pre zeroed at 25 yards and I wrong
Since each gun has a different distance on the bore axis they all need to be zeroed. Some are closer out of the box than others. Thanks for supporting the channel!
you leave out some key parts. When assembling back why do you do that dental tool thing? You don’t explain that part. On mine the button thing in the way of breakdown slider, I can press it in with stuff but it just springs back and gets in the way and I can’t get the take down slider back in. Does it stay in some how??
Mine came with a red dot and 5 mags 😮💨😮💨
That sounds like not too bad of a deal. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Quality wise which is preferable, pre war HP or German occupation HP ? I have the opportunity to buy one and the price difference is marginal.
Pre-war is a little better. But it will have a magazine disconect safety. This will make the trigger noticeably worse. So if it were me ai would get the occupation one, as long as it is not an early one that still has that safety
“S n K” 😂
David B. wasn't the only Son of Sam! Netflix Sons of Sam! Great show!
I have never seen it. I will have to check it out. Thanks for supporting the channel!
@theBucketshallnotbeinfringed your very welcome! It's really good! He did do some of it but not all of it. The Police made a big Screw up, and he coulda got away with it.
