Hello, I am new to your website and I am so glad I found your company! I have also tried the gluboost on a wooden pen I turned and it is the best thing for a shine. Your video is awesome and it was the same I seen somewhere else. I'm so glad gluboost got on board for all the woodturners out there, trying to get the glass shine for wooden pens. Thank you so much for your videos and helping us who really don't have a mentor.

That's why I hate Berea - the most work goes into assembling parts that can be assembled at factory! Why PSI can make pen kits that are preassembled, and Berea couldn't (for the sameish price)? It's especially painful when doing production run of few dozen pens:(((

I've also come up with this method after ages of fooling around. However, it turned out that my drill press table can only be adjusted in one axis, the other is, unfortunately, misaligned permanently :(

I ordered Gluboost based on Ed's videos and Mark Dryer's videos. It came in over the weekend and I used it for the first time on a cocobolo blank. This stuff is amazing!!! As many have said, this will be my "go to" for all my wood pens. Thanks Ed and Mark for your videos.

I have a slimline 7mm PSI twist pen that a customer returned to me in hopes that I can fix it. His complaint is that it will "twist" into the open position while in his shirt pocket. He repeatedly will twist it closed, however it will twist back open. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this? Thanking you in advance...Jaimee

Why not just stabilise like normal?

I know it has been 4 years but if you put the small end of the spring on the refill and give it a twist clockwise it will expand and slide up on the refill. It was actually designed this way to keep the spring in place during assembly/disassembly so you don't lose it in the carpet. :)

I have three of these kits, and I have ordered both set of bushings...the bushings will not fit my mandrel. I have and MT1, where can I find an MT1 Mandrel that will work with these bushing?

I prefer to use the wet micromesh and Zona paper, does GLUBOOST work with the wet sanding?

could you have re-sanded to take the colour out

What size and brand of nib could be swapped in for a baron kit?
