I know this comment is a long comment, but people like you definitely need to take heed in this. I just subscribed to your channel. But I want to tell you this because I don't just only see this in my country and your country about it being hard to live but I see it Globally. now I'm going to say this, I'm not surprised about the fact that Things have gotten to this point in time. I am a 20-year-old African American The reason why I mention my identity is because what I am about to say is very important. The system that we live in Globally my dad would always mention that it is a plantation. Realistically Covid has woken up billions of lives and are starting to see the BS That is happening globally. It was only affecting Black people and people at first didn't care but now that it's affecting everyone people are complaining and etc. I had to get that piece off my Chest. But I had to mention that because Gen z and future generations are going to be the ones to dismantle the system that we live in. Also, at some point we will all turn to the most high and if you don't know what I mean when I say this, it's a biblical reference. Gen z is one of the most advanced generations when it comes to these 3 things Creativity, work, and having fun. after 20 years of living on this earth and counting the most important thing we as a generation must do is Create not work but Create skills that is revolutionary. Working traditional Jobs are no more. and the standard of living is a joke. So realistically, opting out of this society is one of the best choices people our generation can do because we need to hold people that affected us and is too greedy with money and power accountable for what they did and also hold them accountable for their pride. Now as an African American who has parents from Jamaica, I have a serious passion when it comes to China. I have never been to China but when I was younger not only was I interested in the culture and people, but I was also in how they produce goods Globally. also, as I got older, I researched history of Chinese and African relationships. They did great trades which is why regardless of any situation I cannot afford for any Asian, Chinese, Korean, you name it to be my enemy. I cannot afford it at all. I still have a big dream when it comes to my future. I want to be an inventor. I am willing to learn mechanical engineering and programming to achieve my dreams. I don't think it's impossible at all but most importantly I am closing my mind on things like politics. It's time to look at the world for what it is. try to dismantle the things that make us feel oppressed. Be someone that nobody ever thought of being. I might study in China in 2025. and If I do trust me, I will definitely enjoy my life because in the end that's what life is supposed to be about. it is supposed to be fun and an everlasting experience. This system that oppresses all of us will no longer exist if we do what God tells us to do and if we chose to not buy into the system. These elites and what have you owe us big time.

Your English is very, very good, sir. Far better than my Chinese! I'm totally shocked by the work mentality you mentioned in China. Here in the UK age discrimination is illegal and if any company would suggest that you were 'too old' they could face prosecution. Many companies will never respond to job applications. Very few employers will respond with the usual 'unsuccessful'' It's tragic, I'm afraid to say. I wish you all the best in your job search.

Also keep your spirits up with your English, you're doing an awesome job!! I hope that one day you can look back on this time as a productive period and a blessing.😊 I have one small tip if you would like. For some reason it is correct to say “A Korean” or “A Russian” but it is not correct to say “a Chinese” or “a Vietnamese”. You have to say “a Chinese person” or “a Vietnamese person”. I dont know why. I don’t say that to be mean- please don’t feel bad about it- it’s not important- just a tiny little thing you can fix if you want. God bless!😊🫶

I have tattoos, but the only one that has a different alphabet is just a person’s name. (I checked multiple times that it was spelled correctly before I got it tattooed on me.) I’m not really sure if I would ever be brave enough to get a tattoo in a language I don’t speak. 😅 I’ve seen a few people do that with kpop lyrics recently. Which could be okay, but the one I saw most recently was just “이 곳은 frozen night“ meaning “This place frozen night”. 😵‍💫 I’m still not sure what they thought it meant, but I guess that’s on their body forever now… To answer your question though, I think “Build Your Dreams” makes sense. However it feels a bit more intense than “Follow Your Dreams”. Which I think could work fairly well since cars are made out of metal and can be a bit dangerous if you’re not careful.

People generally get Chinese tattoos both for the aesthetic and the supposed meaning, some use machine translation as you mentioned, or they just look up individual words and put them together as you would in English (eg. look up the Chinese characters for "Fly", for "High", for "Like", for "Bird"). Tattoo shops can also have Chinese characters on display to choose from and people will string together nonsensical sentences that way. Some do get purposely funny ones too though, the penis tattoo lady also has tattoos of beer and pizza so it's possible that "meat stick" is what she was going for. I wouldn't be surprised if the evil-minded girl was on purpose too. If you have no connection to China, some consider it trashy or cringe to have such tattoos. I personally don't have any tattoos, but I would never tattoo something unless I myself knew what it meant. Build your dreams is a bit weird for a car logo, it's more like something you might see on a poster in school. But it wouldn't bother me if I liked the car otherwise. Fun video! Thanks!

I understand why you'd think the media is to blame for unfavorable perception of China but I don't think the media is portraying China in a negative light at all, I don't think they have an agenda, it's just that some actions of the Chinese people rather than the Chinese government, for instance the way they illegally fish in many countries and rob people of their marine life, just rubs people the wrong way, because it's not just that they're fishing en masse illegally, hundreds of fishing boats at the time, it's the way they fish, they go scorched Earth leaving absolutely nothing behind so marine life can't recover, it's a very aggressive and short-sighted approach.

Problem with people like you learning English, you don't pay enough attention to phonetics, to how individual words are correctly pronounced and especially how words are pronounced in sequence, how words are linked, connected one to another so sentences have a natural flow to them. You're pronouncing sentences in a very staccato fashion, each word individually and it's quite hard to listen and understand. Thankfully youtube is a treasure trove of knowledge and anyone can learn proper English pronounciation.

I understand how hard it is to learn and speak in any other languages then your own home country. I have been trying to learn many languages such as Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Korean, Japanese and French. Though because the U.S. mainly speaks English. Practicing out and about daily life I don't get use the languages I am learning. Though i have to agree interacting with people to learn English and Chinese is a really good way to learn then just with books, or auto or videos. I would love to learn Chinese to speak properly. Though i know mistakes are a given and fear can be a pain. But I plan to travel next year. And honestly as I tell myself but also to the children I work with and have. Never let fear take you down and mistakes brush off and learn from. Dont beat yourself up for it. Keep moving forward and keep your head up and keep smiling another day will present and you always try again. And to any one who laugh and puts you do. Turn the cheek because negative comments or actions are not worth time. So I hope this message put a smile on your face. Keep moving forward keep smiling. Don't worry you have people that support you and have faith in you. Your awesome. Keep up the good work 😊

From experience, when travelling people don't like rude/ignorant/inconsiderate/disrespectful people and they can come from all over the world unfortunately because china is so big there are lots of people with little to no experience in traveling so people see that right away. For example, not lining up in line, talking really loudly, letting kids run around in busy restaurants, not respecting traffic or general direction/rules... It's growing pain, I think as the world becomes smaller being connected people will learn more about other cultures and soon enough I think that will change as well.

Koreans hate Chinese because of their loud conversation sounds, their lack of public order, or their behavior that harms others by not taking a shower. However, not all Chinese people are like that, but when they see Chinese tourists coming to Korea, they can say that they hate them because of their disorder and unconceptual behavior. For example, hate them because of their accumulated images, such as poop on the street, throwing away food that ate without cleaning up, talking loudly in public, or smoking on the street.
