I think that what I love most about this is that although they make it look like ego's playing off each other, where they are not quite the same because they are all about their own style. They understand this and use it for a better performance, because if it was all about ego then they would never have got the timing so perfect!!!

Ooh, me too. My first crush i elementary school was Gene Kelly. O go against the crowd however, and consider him the brst of that era,even though most people say Astaire eas the greatest. Both glorious. I am now 76 and continue to love men who dance. O am a life long devotee of the most gifted entertainer of all time, Michael Jackson , who credits these 2 gents asvhis onspirations and had the joy of knowing them both during his early lifetime.

It’s so crazy they only danced together one time (except for That’s Entertainment). Such talent. I love those old musicals. But I agree Fred was more graceful whereas Gene was more athletic. But the talent, unbelievable. We will never see this again.
