And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. - Jeremiah 29:13 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. - John 3:16 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. -Acts 3:19 If you’re in North America, please go check out any of the churches available to you: PCA, OPC, Rpcna/Rpc, Urcna, or a canrc church (These are conservative and actual Presbyterian churches) If you can’t find one of the conservative presby churches then, maybe a Lcms Lutheran church If you are Scottish, I recommend the Free Church of Scotland and the APC. (Different from the Church of Scotland) If you’re English I recommend the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in England & Wales and the Free Church of England (Different from the Church of England) Also online you can look up church finders for each of the groups, it will show you locations 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24-25

Thank you for posting. I have the Antony Gray survey of Poulenc's complete piano music and love it. A lovely surprise to hear how well the music works without the text!

So, United States have traditional music and not only Pop music??? Omg, I'm shook! 😱
every country has it
Exactly @@josueavila1306
Yes, America has the best culture but traditional and folk music is regional. I guarantee you the banjo is more common down south than in the north for example.
@@mosin_boi oh the banjo I know
@@LilyIglesias Wait, you're not being facetious? American folk music is legendary and served as the foundation of genres that have since influenced the music of the entire world. It was almost forgotten since at the time it was conceived there was no recording technology. It survived for almost a hundred years, passed on in the hollers and family traditions of Appalachia until it was rediscovered and recorded in the 1940s. The reconstruction era after the American Civil War saw a significant cultural upheaval and traditional music was nearly ousted by newer genres, namely blues and jazz, which were more popular and thus recorded, marketed, and distributed widely based on racial lines. With eyes looking toward the future I think a lot of people were quick to look beyond these early traditions. I suspect this was exacerbated by the fact black musicians have always been critical to our country's musical heritage, including traditional folk music. The post-slavery exodus away from plantation and country lifestyles towards the cities of the North must've included a strong aversion to what was perceived as hillbilly music, replaced by the cooler new blues music. Unfortunately many of the black progenitors of traditional American music and their children never picked up a banjo or fiddle again, though the banjo itself is based on a number of African instruments, but it was conceived uniquely in the United States. Honestly if there's one thing to be proud of in terms of American culture it's our musical tradition. It was forged at an influential point in history when people from African, European, and Native descent all found themselves in a rapidly changing world. For all the infighting and conflict, the goodness human spirit came together to create a truly unique musical expression of all these different people and cultures. Thanks for being interested in it though. If you're interested in the music it's actually very easy to play and share with others, as it was intended to be shared orally. Just learning a few basic principles of American folk music would allow you to speak a language to almost any musician who understands how it works.
