Please get back to making videos guys - they're great. Quick question if you're still checking comments - where did your video on Lake Windermere go? There must have been a good reason to take down your most successful video, later to be reuploaded to the Save Windermere channel 7 months ago?

Excellent video which is easily as entertaining and enjoyable as your others. Also agree that sometimes it is nice just to enjoy nature through binoculars rather than always lining up a shot with the camera. I am still getting used to using my new binos but I can already appreciate the benefit of having some to hand. Look forward to watching more adventures from you and Ed!

The Atlantic puffin population in Iceland has dropped by 70% in the past 30 years and they are under Vulnerable status (high risk of extinction in the wild). And while the hunters you talked to claim to be doing it to "feed their family", many hunters profit off puffins by selling their meat to restaurants and because they are easy to catch. It's crazy that Iceland still allows puffin hunting.

Even though its a tradition that may need rethinking. These are the people that are hurt the most if the puffin population would decline, so these people would make the most effort in keeping them around. Maybe there is a middleway, if they help increase the population they are allowed to catch a certain number of birds. If there are no people that benefit from the puffins why would anyone bother keeping their population stable. This does not apply to puffins only but to all hunting traditions and hunting in general.
