    Ahh. I had broken AC in a tow truck I ran Company didnt care. Then I was driving it allover the state for 9-10 hours a day. was like real feel 115+ everyday. Then hot parking lots working in. Used to near keel over. The following days i always got real sick. One vehicle was even better.. Or we had the sale. It was Hot air. Hot lot and carbon monoxide poisoning from all the exhaust and stagnant air basically after years of that I refuse to work outside anymore.. Only at night. Does the AC work well on the Hino? One day ill but a Hino with a tow truck deck on it so I Can move 2 cars

    You can't instantly fix that level of salt deficiency and your body can only process so much. This level of cramping probably needs immediate attention, IV fluids at the least.

      You must be a doctor or in the medical field somehow! Thanks for the comments. I should have done a follow up or added something about that at the end. Yes, I did get IV treatment the next day! That was a bit scary for me.

    Thanks for the video. We hadn’t pumped ours in over 12 years.. ours was as bad as that one. I used to work out of town so I wasn’t at home when it was pumped years ago. I’m retired so I took a more hands on approach this time. I dug up the lid and had it ready for the pump truck. I installed a riser this time so I don’t have to do that again. Thanks to your videos and a few others, I’m more educated on the proper maintenance mainly pumping every 3-5 years. Thanks again for taking the time to help us DIYers out by making these videos!

    I have a question for you. New subscriber here. I’m in Tennessee. I had my tank pumped the other day… took me a while to find my septic lid. They said if I found it, dug it and had it ready they get to it quicker because they were so behind. My neighbor had his pumped a few days later by a different company. My tank hadn’t been pumped for 12 years.. very solid top to bottom. My neighbor had his pumped about three years ago. His was mostly liquid.. black like pond water. Here’s my question. My neighbors tank was full of sewer flies and their larvae. Mine didn’t have any that I noticed. Is it a good thing to have them in your tank? If so, where would I find the to put in the tank? Thanks in advance for any answer. I like your channel! Very informative!

      sorry for the delay - I thought i had replied already. You've got me stumped. I have breathed as few of those things in before after opening a tank - you talk about nasty! Never could understand how something could live in there - starved of oxygen. But as to whether they help the system or not - I don't know. These systems typically require very little maintenance. There are things you can't flush or put down the sink - wipes and cooking grease to name the big ones, but not much else you really need to add. There are some folks that tell you to add yeast or use some of those monthly additives, but the marginal improvement you get from them I don't think justifies the cost. Just get it pumped every 3-5 years. If your system is older, you have a lot of people living there or your soil content is not the greatest, pump it more often. Thanks for the comments! David

      @@shthappens5124 thanks for the reply! I’m a huge DIYer… obviously pumping my own septic tank is my limitation (I don’t have a tank truck)! I’ve done a little additional research… I agree with you. I don’t think the sewer flies are desirable . My understanding is that they can only access it through broken or compromised pipes. I’m going to stick with your advice and just pump it every several years! Thanks again for replying and also the videos you make!

    You need a gas powered pressure washer to break up the clumps. Cut a piece of 3/4" plywood large enough to cover the access hole. Cut a hole large enough for the spray head, and blast away. Keep away from the sides of the tank to prevent damage to tank.

    • @JaymesEaston
      @JaymesEaston 6 місяців тому

      you're welcome. I've used power washers to dig post holes and extracting roots from shrubs and a Holly tree. The Holly tree root ball went down over three feet. Used a plastic bucket to confine the overspray and splashing; used a wet or dry vac to vaccumm up the slurry. Think of it as liquid dynamite.@@wheelrideforbeer
