Business Your Own Mind live at Ursem 2022
best rhythm section ever
best rhythm section ever
Ian Stewart was the 6 th stones
excellent
Very kool !
Bil and Charlie were definitely the backbone of the songs and no one can argue differently. They together were one of akind.
Bill Wyman is so good that words aren’t enough to sing his praise. Yes, I listen to Jaco, Patrick O’Hearn, Juna Sarita and Mina_atBass, only the best.
if you cant recognize this as Bill Wyman then you aint a fan of the Stones lol
Mick Taylor is playing the bass Bill Wyman isn't that good.
It wyman lol can look it up
Cool stuff. King of the octave bass riff.
Definitely Bill. His sound and style is unmistakable.
Definitely not a Bassist song, noodling around on the bass. Not a fan. The song is just blah….zero bottom line. After hearing it isolated, explains why I never was a fan of the song.
It sounds like Keith playing bass. Bill was much more refined and had a swing as we all know. These notes are almost choppy....like a guitar player
It’s wyman look it up
I LOVE THIS!!! ❤ Way to funk it up, Bill! 🎉 I think this is the official live performance from Fort Worth, Texas in 1978. There’s a UA-cam of it.
Sounds like bass has mind of its own . Great playing rythem to it
What bootleg is this from? Thanks!
Only a YT rip!
@ceesebbinge do you know what show? Sounds like maybe the Philadelphia one
@@alexgarza4513 Probably Seattle (1:30)
This totally got me tapping my feet and moving! How the hell did he stay so still when playing?
Great, but I thought Keith played a lot of bass parts
in the booklet, this song does not mention the distribution of the instruments. the title is clear... Anyway Bill is a perfect bassist.
love bill Wyman
Love Bill and Charlie !!! The very best Original !!
aca tambien toca el bajo keif o ronnie esto va para los mandriles que lo denostan vamos bill !!!
Klinkt lekker mannen. Wanneer en waar wordt er opgetreden?
Ff geduld. Hebben sabbatical gehad van 13 jaar 😁
Very good version and very good audio quality🤟
I don't think it's Bill. Bill would play it with more dexterity and melodic sense.
Great pic of Bill with an EB-3. Looks like there is some dispute as to who actually played bass on here, but it sounds like an electric bass rather than an upright, especially as you can hear the pick, and Bill Plummer apparently played an upright bass. Some of the lines sound like what Wyman would do. Might even be an EB-3 he was playing, maybe in mid position (both pickups).
I’m not sure this is even Billiam
This guy hit the jackpot There’s probably 50 million superior bassists who are relatively broke AF
He's dragging - not great
I had no idea.
Stu piano was unique as well as Nicky Hopkins and Preston. The Stones have had always great keyboardists, Chuck is also fantastic. Pity that Stu, Billy and Nicky left us too soon.
I admire this musician. He left the Stones just before he could earn millions of dollars and enhanced his solo career in other musical fields. I attended two concerts with his group (the Rythm Kings) and they were eye popping. With this rhytm section (Wyman and Watts) the Stones could create and perform the best blues rock songs ever produced. Keith Richards has repeatedly praise Wyman skills as well as Charlie's. He knows that he shone because of their rythmic support.
One of the most overrated songs ever written.
groovy
Sloppy as fuck but great in the song. Whatever
i think people should drive around listening to just bass like this more often.
I can't fucking sit still!
The brilliance of these old school Bass players is hidden in the final mixes. Wyman is another totally underrated Bass player. To those saying it was Keith on Bass for this track, you're mistaken. Keith played bass on "Casino Boogie", "Happy" and "Soul Survivor".
Exile DID try into the "unofficial" Keith Richard SOLO album ......
what? I don't understand your "unofficial" English.
@@mjp96 That's definitely Keith playing that bass part , can you understand that now ?
@@frankporfidio9813No. Its Bill. Keith played bass on Casino Boogie, Happy and Soul Sourvivor. Keith always love to play in a band. He loves the Stones because its a band.
Bill is quite unorthodox in his style. He's not a prolific bass player but tasteful. Charlie is a human metronome. He keeps it tight and seamless.
It is obvious that there was no quantising back then in the mixing room.
Not many can swing a bass like this. CLASS
Bass player is pissed
British pissed or American pissed? ps I do like 'drum & bass'.
This is live? Wow. Impressive bass work.
Bill and Charlie make me smile. Keep telling the truth Bill. The world misses you Charlie
Stu's Boogie is still alive. RIP Ian Stewart
He doesn't play the expected parts on bass. A brilliant musician.
He does that a lot actually
horrible !
According to the sleeve notes with the remastered version of Exile on Main Street, Keith Richards played bass on two tracks. Casino Boogie and Soul Survivor. Mick Taylor played bass on one track, Torn and Frayed. Bill Wyman is listed as playing bass on all eighteen tracks. Obviously there would have been a certain amount of overdubbing going on. I have read elsewhere that Bill Plummer, who was a legendary American double bass player, played on four tracks of Exile, but which ones were not mentioned. Unfortunately, Bill Wyman's extremely entertaining and very detailed autobiography. Stone Alone, only takes the reader up to the notorious Altamont concert in December 1969. The Exile album wasn't released until May 1972. It's a shame Bill hasn't written a second volume, because if anyone could tell who played what instrument on what track, it would be Bill.
I think "Rolling With the Stones" was the unofficial sequel to "Stone Alone."
I’d believe the original credits vs the remaster 5 decades later. There guys forgot a lot and didn’t exactly take good notes. It’s documented that Bill Wyman wasn’t around much. He was staying hours away and didn’t want to stay at Keith’s like Charlie and Taylor did most of the time. The initial track listed put Wyman on about half the tracks and several of those were done in London at Stargroves before they split for France
I know the drummer was definitely jimmy miller, says so inside sleeve, bill plummer was bassist
Jimmy Miller did percussion parts, not drums....that was alllll Charlie....
Wyman played bass on Rocks Off
Charlie was a a human metronome, incredible.
A prime example on how every single note doesn't have to be perfect as long as the groove is maintained.
