THAT SHORT-LIVED TV COP SHOW WAS A BIG HIT, ESPECIALLY WITH THE ENDING OF JACK WEBB'S MARK VII LIMITED AND UNIVERSAL TELEVISION TO CLOSE IT OUT. ANYWAY TO PUT THIS CLASSIC TV COP SHOW, "CHASE" ON DVD IN THE FUTURE BY ANY CHANCE? I REALLY WANT TO SEE THIS BEFORE MY TIME COMES TO THE END. THANK YOO VERY MUCH FOR SHOWING THAT EPISODE ON YOU TUBE.

I was 5 and loved the show. Thought Freddie Prinze was cool(cooler than Fonzie). One day my Father told me the show wouldn't be on anymore because Freddie Prinze shot himself. I was heartbroken and horrified. Could imagine why anyone would do that. A week later i put on the t.v. and was so relieved to see the show back on. Freddie WASN'T dead!!!! It was a mistake. I yelled down the stairs to my Father that Chico is alive. He gently explained that the shows were taped and that he did die and there would be no more shows in a few weeks.

I remember this show back in '75. When I was a young teenager I thought it was funny. The idea for a comedy series about Robin Hood is great. However, the show itself was terrible. Tastes can change after 49 years. 😊 Recently I've watched a few episides on UA-cam, including this one. The best part of this particular episode was the opening credits and the commercial for National Review magazine!

The man Dabney Coleman puts his arm around at 0:46 was the actual mayor of Buffalo, NY at that time James Griffin who became the longest-serving mayor of Buffalo (1978-1993). The media in Buffalo at that time spent a lot of effort to promote "Buffalo Bill" because the show promoted the city in a positive light

When I was a kid in the 1970's, my family moved from Colorado to Missouri. I got to meet my new Elementary Principal. She said her name was Mrs Brooks, just like the TV show. I had no clue what she was talking about. I only knew Gilligan's Island and the Brady Bunch. Throughout my life I have heard references to this show. Today I was watching an Elinor Donahue interview and she mentioned the show again. I'm 58 years old., and decided I was going to finally watch an episode to see what this show is about. Today was the day and this video was the episode. 1955 is when my dad graduated HS so this is more from his era. I can now say I've seen the show.
