Who doxxed and sent death threats?!?! Tbys in his video (you would have known if you watched his videos) literally emphasizes on not sending any hate towards illy. This is an unfortunate truth but some people just don't listen. After that happened, he even made a post telling that he doesnt support and condemns this sort of action. Don't blame the creator for something someone else did and the creator didn't even support. On the other hand, illy directly by herself encouraged a mass flagging campaign, which IS against YT guidelines. Please consider both sides before making outlandish opinions

I’m inclined to disagree with the fact that Illymation didn’t want his video to be taken down when she specifically said and told her viewers to flag and report the video. Videos that are reported are taken down, and the channels can be delete if it’s severe enough. Illymation has a massive following compared to TBYS, so this can be considered mass-flagging. If she didn’t want to escalate the situation she could’ve just moved or just ignore the video, like what the hell is a guy like TBYS going to do to her? There’s no reason that she justifies her telling her fanbase to take the video down and possibly take away his income. --------------- Also, yes I do agree that TBYS was a bit harsh with criticism. But that’s the thing, it’s criticism, meant to help people- He never says it in a antagonistic way. And yes, whoever thought it was right to freaking DOXX Illymation is a freaking idiot that’s only making the situation worse for everybody. Last thing: Her take on food is objectively wrong. Instead of gaslighting impressions teens on how to justify their bad eating habits, she could’ve just.. Encouraged healthy eating? Or give some motivational speech that anyone can look nice if they try or anyone can be healthy if they try. Instead of settling for not trying at all. Motivate people to put effort, instead of enabling them to be lazy.

Correct but 1. It isn't the way she said it that was the issue. It was obvious what she meant. It is just dishonest ppl like tbys that twisted what she meant and took out of context too. 2. Tbys never apologized at all. The many times he tried it was bad faith where he just going to insult her. Literally throwing a jab. If he was really apologizing, he wouldn't be making jokes about what happened, playing the victim, nor trying to downplay what she went through. Just saying

TBYS intentionally cut it to make people think it was like that. So it just proves most of these commentators just took his word for it and didn't even look at the video themselves.

But really it ain't out of context. While her statement about morals and being good or bad might be true, it still affects health negatively. Viewing food like that can make one eat without any limits and responsibility towards their body. TBYS's main criticism on that statement was that she has a main audience of impressionable children and speling something like that was a very bad influence as children lack knowledge on thermodynamics and basic critical thinking skills. Please watch tbys video before fully forming an opinion.

Well to be honest, a chocolate bar is less moral than a carrot because a chocolate bar is incredulously unhealthy for you and the way it was made was through child labor while carrots are healthy and low calorie and are harvested by normal farms manned by people who actually chose to work their. Her "Food is just food" and "A carrot is not an inherently good food and chocolate is not an inherently bad food" phrasing might not have been the best, but anyone who isn't an idiot and who payed attention to everything she said in the video knows that she wasn't saying that that you can eat as much as you want of any food item, but that you should not be ashamed for not matching the crazily high & strict cultural expectations of how people's bodies should look. You would see that TBYS purposefully omits crucial information from the video which causes her message to be distorted. What Illymation said was that No food is inherently bad or good and you shouldn't feel bad for eating "bad" food UNLESS you have dietary restrictions.

I’m sorry you’re misinformed. Even if you have lymphedema or thyroid problems, weight gain is literally always caused by eating higher quantities of food than necessary. It’s a hard thing to balance for every individual, but it is literally always. The easiest way to gain weight is to eat lots of salt, sugar, and oil, which are super rich and also make you retain water, while making you hungrier and giving your body less useful nutrients. A little bit of fat is necessary to survive but it’s literally only ever a burden to carry it around because of lack of discipline or lack of healthy food options.
