I prayed on my knees in the Gettysburg parking lot infront of many tourists & the curious, after i, about 5 years ago, warned the United States military, of an ongoing burgening Civil War, perhaps saving you ver lives.
Catholics are now considered domestic terrorists thanks to the Biden regime!

I've been to Gettysburg. The Irish brigade is one of the only units to have more then one monuments. The monument to Corby stands on the actual rock he stood on.
I found a cool video about Fr Corby from Catholic History Trek. Very interesting & insightful history. ua-cam.com/video/XDaavQ7OHm0/v-deo.html
Thats true in the movie of the san patrick's batalion they touch that subject on wich them Irelands were discriminated becuase of their faith so they passed to the mexican army becuase they had the same religious belifs
Realistically, Jesus didn't have shit on roy benavidez. How can I look up to Jesus when men like roy benavidez exist.
Hell of a thing to say, but….
The 1993 movie "Gettysburg" has a scene showing Fr. Corby granting absolution to the Irish Brigade. Plus, the 2003 movie "Gods and Generals" depicts the Irish Brigade fighting a Confederate Regiment at Fredericksburg that was also mainly Irish.
La Raza is one many some of Americas best soldiers
Going to Gettysburg end of August. I plan to say a prayer at that monument. Leave a rosary for Father Corby.
I worked 9 years of my 16 total years as an Army Chaplain Assistant. I have met many soldiers especially in the infantry whom I know would do as Benavidez had done if the circumstances happened. But Men of faith just had that extra strength from the rest. It was those men of faith who depended on prayer that was admirable and inspirational to me. I was in Germany during the 1st Gulf War and met some who were going to Desert Shield and Desert Storm and they reminded me of our MOH hero. I hope they knew of his bravery to give that extra inspiration to their lives.
What was done by the Irish Brigade at the angle won the battle and saved the union, Go Irish!
Red Beard says 👍
He's faith was stronger than pain
Come on Hollywood make a movie about this man don't let Mexico or a European country do it first shame on you..... specialist four Republic of Vietnam 1971 Saigon🇲🇽🇺🇸🇲🇽
I have researched the Irish Brigade for 34 years. 63rd, 69th, 88th New York, 28th Massachusetts, 116th Pennsylvania. "...it rushed into the fight with its well-known gallantry..." Father Corby was chaplain, 88th New York. There is a copy of this statue on the campus of Notre Dame University. If you would like more information about him, and the Irish Brigade, please contact me, Robert McLernon, at rm69nyib@gmail.com for attachments.
THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST GOT ME THROUGH SEVEN COMBAT TOURS! Over 27 years while serving in the Special Forces. GOD IS AMAZING!

This a really good fact, for all Catholic’s to know!! Thx, for teaching us this wonderful fact!!! I will show to my Catholic family members. God bless!!! 12/20/18.
Every Catholic Man knows that there is nothing such a general absolution without an individual absolution after you survived.
Thx for the hidden history of Catholic's in this great Nation!!!
I am a Hoosier Hispanic Latin Catholic, American by birth, and these lands have changed names in the past 500 yrs. My family from Texas, Arizona and Southern California. It was native land, Nueva España, México, now America!!! My grandfather said the border jumped us, not we, it. Irish 🍀 on both sides of the war between US and Mexico. Irish 🍀 still honored on both sides as well!!! A move from the 1999 call "One Man's Hero". May God bless The Irish!!! 09/07/18
I have a deep wonderful spot for Irish 🍀 people. St. Patrick, other St. Saints from Irish 🍀 country. Plus it's influence on many nations!!! It suffers much, but than blessed many times after. The Patricios in Mexico!!! Irish 🍀 connections with Spain, ect!!!
Thx for your wonderful work!!! God bless you all!!! Viva Notre Dame!!!
Great story.
This was not the truning point for Irish Catholics, what about John O'Reilly and the Patricios during the Mexican American war that came after the civil war, the Catholic Irish still had a long road ahead of them after the Mexican-American war.
You’ve done a fantastic job of telling that great story
garbage...
Sam Little why?
Hog Flambe probably because they're Catholic and you Know how people are towards us
They can say what they want about us but they'll never break us.
Excellent video, and thank you for posting from this proud Byzantine Catholic.
What’s the difference being a Byzantine Catholic? Currently on the journey of the Catholic Faith
@@jacoblopez989 Some technicalities but it's basically small differences in their rites and sacraments. The foundation is the same but cultural and military power shifts over the centuries kind of led to the differences between liturgies in, say, a Roman Catholic church. I'm not the best at explaining it though but I hope that helps somewhat lol
the last acceptable prejudice in America.
PATRICK McShane Splain
Hog Flambe Catholics are regularly denigrated by all sectors...loocie I'm home.
I feel no reason to disparage anyone, I'm an atheist, MS BENAVIDEZ Gave me a mantra to follow. A modus operandi of purpose.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful story. I did not know about this. I am a Catholic immigrant from a Latin American country: I want to be a true Catholic in a true American
One of the opening statements is so true about children following what your parents do they don't go to Church then the children won't go And it's so scary about the children by time they are 6 years old watching more television than talking to their fathers in their lifetime
Hi Yvette. Today is 26 of November and I never had I day off work since 29 of June. I work as security 7 nights and 2-3days a week. Searching in Internet if is anyone crazy like that love what I doing I came across of your Dad. Also I study human behaviour and what I am reading about Roy, it must be the greatest Man ever lived on face of this planet. Now it makes me wonder when people complain for any silly thing. What an inspiration of any boy who wants to become a real Man. If I had a wish it would be clone this Great Man. Rest in peace Sir
Thank you for this. My dad was a man of faith, like you said. I believe that it was his faith that led him through those two tours in Vietnam, and brought him home safely. I really liked this video. Again, thanks! - Yvette Benavidez Garcia, Roy's daughter.
God Bless you Yvette. I had the honor to personally attend one of your father's speeches. I know that you and your whole family are proud of him. I wish the best to you and your family.
Dear Yvette, thank you from an old dog warrior, who proudly wore my nation's uniform for 6 years. Your dad was & im sure still is an exceptional man. Like you my family has a long history of military service. My own father served in ww2 in what was then the army air Corp. Though I think we have much to be concerned for our beloved country, she's still the greatest there's ever been , and that to the thanks of men & women who just wouldn't quit ; folks who know the real value of loving one's neighbors like loving one's self , just as Jesus said & did . Many blessings to you and your family, let your children know the kind of man their grandpa was. !
Your dad was a hero he protected his allies and did a service for our country some would call him a hero but hes a legend
How is Noel doing? Still with PD?
Viva la Raza
Thank you father!
Great advent wisdom, I hope you continue this series!
Here here! Priests are hard working and busy always but there're hungry sheep here too
+Conrad Designs Thanks for your comment! This is the beginning of our new TCM series, A Man of His Word. We will be posting a video on Sundays all through the season of Advent and Christmas! Stay tuned for more.
This is the first video I've seen from TCM, it's an inspiring one for sure.
This is so true. Many men have a difficult time connecting with their children, especially their sons. This is because, while women are designed to be more relational and connect through emotions and conversations, men are designed as doers--we connect with our children through doing, building, and creating with them. In a world where most of us leave our families behind all day and sit behind a desk, we are left with the difficult challenge of bridging that gap and passing on out trade.
Couldn't agree with you more
I'm loving this series of short videos. My "I just need" is probably kid's behaviors. "I just need my son to learn how to communicate. Then I wouldn't get so mad and frustrated with him".
That's a beautiful story. I'm glad you shared this.
