Thank you! Yes, we knew the food would be good but it surpassed our expectations. And the service was wonderful! And that morning serenade made me cry with joy twice 😅 We didn't do room service this time, because we loved the restaurant experience so much. The team in the restaurant was so sweet, and we would chat about my outfit each night. My husband felt a little left out haha!

@@goproletsgo Wow - that is so wonderful and memorable for you both. We are not room service people with the exception of having a huge urn of coffee delivered first thing which we enjoy on the veranda. Then our last dinner too. Sounds from your reply we may alter our course (punster !). That is so funny about you the focus of your serving staff's attention - poor guy got a temporary inferiority complex LOL !

@@goproletsgo Crows are smart and super curious. We have a bird feeder too, which is on our deck railing in the forest. We have so many neat birds from mockingbirds, to crows, to mourning doves, to sea gulls (we're near the sea too), to wild canaries which are totally adorable, to hummingbirds which are super friendly, to red headed woodpeckers which we've names Lucy and Ethal LOL ! And these small little sparrows that have butterscotch wings, grey bodies, dark black heads and white chests, blue birds which hog the feeder and my favorite which are the blue jays - gorgeous and very polite birds, no seed scattering like the blue birds do. I love ALL birds and enjoy watching their antics and song-trills the most of all.... Thank you again for this breath of fresh air and nature video ! m.

Wow, that sounds wonderful! We see a lot of similar birds to you, but I would love to see a wild canary! All of them are so delightful to watch :)

@@goproletsgo Yes, the wild canaries are very sweet with a delightful chirp and birdsong. They are mostly a glorious yellow and peachy. We also have a parrot population here in the bay area ! A few no doubt were on an overseas freighter, and they made their home in a local church steeple, and their population grew immensely ! They soar around in a gorgeous blue-green winged formation and are stunning to watch. You can hear them coming before you see them by their loud distinctive chittering LOL !

Thank you so much! Our room had what's classed as a large balcony so the loungers were included as part of that. There was also a small table and chairs. I'm glad you enjoyed watching!

​@@goproletsgo I loved your video and others too. That is great that NCL now includes these lounger on the larger balconies -- they didn't at first. I think you buttered the butler up :-) That's an old expression from our olden days and not what someone who is much younger might misinterrupt this to mean LOL !!! Cheers and happy crujising a whole lot more in the Haven !!! PS - We shall be in the Haven this November mid on a Bermuda Cruise - with 4 days on Bermuda vs. the typical 3 days. Can't wait !!! Maybe we'll see you there ?

Fabulous! I would love to do another NCL cruise in the Haven soon, possibly Alaska... Honestly I would live in the Haven if I could ;) Enjoy Bermuda, I am sure it will be spectacular!

@@goproletsgo LOL - well wouldn't living in the Haven be nice for sure ! The NCL Alaskian cruises are very expensive for a Haven suite - the most expensive Haven experience of all the places they go. Would you consider cruising on Celebrity ? We love their Suite Experience which has a similar feel to it to NCL's, although certainly not a ship within a ship concept, but their butler service, suite specialty restaurant, room service, suites, private suite areas, etc. are phenomenal. As well, ALL of their restaurants including their main dining venue are outstanding and a class above all other cruise ship cuisine even Oceania who touts being for foodies. We also have cruised in Princess and Holland America suites, which are huge and gorgeous with mega-balconies, but they do not have many of the Haven or Celebrity suite experience amenities - but you will get a more stunning suite thus a trade off and their service is SO friendly, and all regular dining venues way above par ! We have been to Alaska on cruises 4 times - we like the ones that are 10 to 14 days that go out of San Francisco as we get lots of sea days to and from, plus we only live 45 minutes from the city. Going out of SFO is stuffing, and under that Golden Gate Bridge is truly a neat experience. Alaska is gorgeous as you know - and one other tip: which ever line you choose, May is the most reasonably priced month, especially the first cruise out; September is 2nd most reasonably priced, the last cruise out and our personal favorite choice. More calving occurs and the weather is lovely and warm-ish yet with a tiny tip of autumn in the air too. CHEERS !!! Stay well and please keep in touch !!! We travelers need to stick together !!!! M.

Very insightful! I agree that downtown Orlando has a long way to go compared to a lot of other U.S. cities I've visited. We do get Broadway shows at the Dr. Phillips Center, plus some great gallery shows, so hopefully this is a sign of more good things to come :)
