Hi pds4927. I'm Steve. I am trying to do just that..get an MS300 inverter to work on a PM 3520B. Did you ever have any luck configuring it with your lathe? I'm desperate. There are many more options than the original S inverter.

Hi, for 4-20mA use the ACI terminal as signal and ACM terminal as common. For speed reference, 03.00 = 0, 03.01 = 1, 00.20 = 2. For PID feedback, 03.01 = 5.

What about if the wires are 5. Control nob has 3 wires. Start and stop has 2 wires. How can I connect it

Can I bypass it by connecting a wire from MI1 to DCM bcuz I want it to run as soon as I activate the external switch that provides power to it
Yes, also check 00.21 for external terminals and 02.35 setting to enable it

Hi Can you do a video of how to connect the MS300 to use a 24v pulse to increase and decrease the frequency if possible?
Using an external 24VDC input, see the control terminal wiring fig 6-5 in the manual. Pulse input - the frequency of the pulses determines the speed. Check the description in parameter 10.16 External Up / Down - 00.20, 02.01 ~ 02.07 set to 19 and 20
can we take out the digital panel and use an extension wire or something so you can transfer the digital panel on the door of the main panel?
Yes there is a keypad extension cable. The part numbers are in the accessories section of the manual.
if everyone forgot the password and the store where we bought the delta vfd has closed shop, is there a way to UNLOCK/RESET the password? Help please.
On the MS300, yes, refer to the description of parameter 00-07 in the manual.

I am wanting to run a vacuum pump for my cnc table. I was to told split the wire from the vacuum on switch and put it on m1 and vcm. Is this a safe method to run the drive?
As long as it is a dry contact from MI1 - DCM and no additional power given to the drive control terminals, then yes.

Does it have to be a 5k Pot? Can it be a 10k or 20k?
It can be other resistances but you will lose range on the pot. For example, at 50% rotation on a 10k pot you'll be 5k ->10V -> 100% reference on the drive.
How many models available? Models type? Usage location?
How to set up and down setting with memory and without memory?
Refer to multifunction input setting 38 to disable EEPROM.
How to set multispeed? Example first switch on 10hz Second switch on 30hz
