I love the sound of those choppers. They have such a distinct sound to the them just like the Ospreys and the Army Apache. But my favorite is the old Huey.
Are you as upset over the trillions wasted in Iraq and Afghanistan? Aiding the Ukrainians against our long time enemy is a bargain in comparison
The 4 blade main rotor is a lot quieter than the original 2 blade main rotors
In case I want to save 3+ minutes of ur life the blades don't start moving til 3 min mark bet? Love the helicopter though not sure what's better that or Apache but both nice to have in USA

What a total bad ass helicopter with the twin engines and four blades with supersonic tips! They should convert some of the older ones to this configuration. Those airframes are strong and a bunch of them were made and probably cheaper to do it this way than those expensive "plastic" helicopters.👍💪🇺🇲
They do in fact upgrade older airframes, theres small left over parts of the airframe on some that you can tell it was upgraded, both UH-1Y and AH-1Zs
Not trying to be a expert just love old things getting put to new jobs. If it isn't broken make it better or fix it up and get it flying
