U.S.S. Enterprise Space Trials
Top secret footage of the Enterprise (TOS) at a secret Starfleet Testing Range. The ship's maneuverability and agility are thoroughly tested as is her firepower. It's worth noting that the Enterprise set a course record! She hit every target and finished far quicker than any other vessel in Starfleet history!
Get pumped; this is a high energy presentation that will make sure that history NEVER forgets the name Enterprise!

Hope you enjoy it! I've had a few requests for long running ambient videos so expect to see some more soon! Like and subscribe to support my channel and see my new animation videos as I post them! Enterprise Refit Torpedo Bay Weapons Console Preview

Time to revisit the Refit Enterprise Torpedo Bay! This console's been done for a while but I got sidetracked by the Calypso project and other things more pertinent to the TOS era. Help me pick one! I created two consoles; they're identical but one is a standing console and the other is a seated console. Let me know in the comments what you think and which one should be permanently installed. Federation Deep Space Tugboat Concept - WIP Preview

The other day I spent an hour fleshing out a random ship from the TOS era. I made it thinking "early TOS era" like decades before Kirk but post-Archer NX-01. I did a couple of quick renders and posted it. The comments were mostly positive. Several people said it looked like a tugboat so I ran with that idea and had some fun with it. Things to note: - The textures are 'smart textures'; procedura...

Happy New Year! Beam aboard the Enterprise Refit as seen in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan! The transporter room was my second Blender project after the refit bridge. But at the time I had a really slow video card and the 'wandering' ambient video took a long time to render. I decided to revisit it now that I have an RTX 4090. Hope you enjoy this. Let me know in the comments what you think. If...

This started out as an idea for a civilian ship from the TOS era but more than one person pointed out it looked very "dark ops" Section 31 and I loved the idea so Project Nightwing was born; a mission specific vessel designed for covert operations. I'm trying to create a kind of hybrid transporter effect that's more involved than the TOS effect and could serve as a bridge to what we see in TWOK. NX1900 Final Preview - Phaser Placement & Hull Plating
Переглядів 8 тис.21 день тому
This is the final preview before the 'christening' of the NX-1900. This is actually two renders; the second half of the video is a render I did yesterday after making some changes to the plating, adding some additional plating, and giving her some more color accents. Still a teeny tiny bit of work to do on details but I think she'll be ready to reveal her name in the next few days. Let me know ...

The third and final test! Taking into account the various comments on the previous two phaser turret videos, I've made some changes I think everyone will like. I sunk the phasers into the hull so that they're nearly invisible when not in use. I made the tracking faster, though it can be as fast or slow as needed. I fixed the sight line issue with the emitter being too close to the hull line, to...

Very nice, the top-tier vessels in particular the Enterprise has surprised to every starfleet in Sol.
I like that
Totally epic!!!! wish we had this back in the 60's..... what a thrill ride it was. 🤪
WOW! This is truly awesome Rob! You may have just shown us the Enterprise through more action than throughout the entire series! 🤣I know, I know, the technology was limited back then, but I love how you bring her back to life and perform as she was meant to.
@@jonandnao thank you!!
Really enjoyed the watch, I appreciate Star Trek never really showed space combat as more true than BSG and the expanse but I wonder if you could for example show the Enterprise using thrusters for example to turn, I know you only see them from the TMP error and onwards it makes sense that the the Enterprise would use them to help her turn etc, loved the phasers and torpedo design, make sense in a modern audience. I get the feeling also if they had the space they would alternate between impulse and warp in combat (appreciate a asteroid field would make that difficult). Overall really, really cool Video, hats of to you for some fantastic work.
That was cool!
Man, I keep missing your new videos… Gotta pay more attention.
I like both honestly.

Time to engage the enemy, Mr. Sulu, take us out
Please do this with the refit! Great work thus far.
Thanks! The refit is my long term project at the moment.
@@robbetz I have no doubt it will be impressive. I have always hoped to see the Connie refit demonstrate her full firepower potential. If the original Connie could destroy a small planet, the refit with phasers alone could do a bigger one. Such is the power of a phaser beam. Add 100 MT torpedoes and you dont need quantum versions of the same. Then use the space time warp to go back and get the specs on the Genesis torpedo and modify that to be fired from photon torpedo tubes. Perhaps that is too much firepower. Dr McCoy would have a little to say on it I am sure!
I liked that short trip there !!
“Nooo. Beelaaay that phaasseerr orrdeeer”. “Taarrrrgeetttiingaaasssteeerrrriiood!”
Sensational! What a beautiful and highly dangerous vessel she is ;))
Whoa! Didn't see THAT coming! Sulu and Chekov in their prime!
Told ya it was different!
Very cool, what no space slug, or Millennium Falcon?! Fail... Just kidding, you are the master, great job once again. Peace, and long life.
@@christophersnyder1532 thanks! Don’t tempt me! I’ve thought about crossing franchises…
@robbetz Well, from what I recall, because Star Trek had used Industrial Light & Magic for the special effects, they had actually stuck the Millennium Falcon in, at least the Borg attack in, First Contact. Jolan tru!
That's exactly how maneuverable and precise the Enterprise should move. I think fixed forward weapons of the Klingons and Romulans only make sense with extremely maneuverable, fighter like, ships. That would place the Enterprise as being setup more like a bomber because of the multiple, small, numerous phaser banks. But, even it has fixed forward torpedo tubes which make sense as the main weapon, more than just a chase weapon, so even it is supposed to angle in like a fighter. Here are the best examples of speed: Impulse: ua-cam.com/video/OdRUL8RbDw8/v-deo.htmlsi=YuG_565zV46SNO_n&t=135 Warp: ua-cam.com/video/A5pacJ75BXI/v-deo.htmlsi=s_Vv6-sflacum9dQ&t=39 The latter is probably pretty slow for full on warp, it's only a little faster than the impulse example, but it's the fastest I've ever seen a Trek ship depicted.
@@Exploder11 thanks. I read somewhere that full impulse speed is a significant fraction of light speed. Dont know how true that it but that first video definitely shows how fast it can be.
@@robbetz Calculated from certain episodes, they move near the speed of light while under impulse. "Best of Both Worlds Pt2" I think they're go 0.92c through the Sol system while trying to catch the Borg cube. There's a Voyager episode where they go 0.75 c. Also, I believe impulse fraction is actually a measure of acceleration and not a speed setting. So quarter impulse is actually 1/4 maximum acceleration, which makes it distinct from 0.5 warp which is sort of a particular speed (depending on environmental conditions), which is distinct from calling out an actual speed like 500 km/s.
@@Exploder11"And at Warp 11 we're going nowhere mighty fast!" (Scotty, in episode May that be your last battlefield, after the Enterprise had been hijacked and was going around in tight circles at well over maximum safe warp)

I loved it....all I would have done is make the movement a little more realistic. The split second turns are off a bit.
@@M_J_Glide_22 I get that. But truth be told there are no realistic movements in Star Trek. The Expanse and BSG are the only shows I’ve ever seen that realistically portrays how ships move in space. Most franchises require a little suspension of disbelief 🖖😊
Its like watching the USS Defiant in combat from the Enterprise series. Seeing all that firepower from that class of startship is really awesome.
