@@Gravy123-kp5ou okay let’s chill here. The documentary literally presents it and I’m going to take a wild guess and say I’ve seen far more Cota races than you. They DO NOT run that wide all the time. The team was okay with putting that discussion out there in a documentary that it was literally the main event of that documentary and the last segment. The criticism is fair the contact happened and as I mentioned AJ didn’t need to force it there. Ty Gibbs had very little to do with what happened there. He didn’t cause SVG to door shot AJ. We obviously love AJ he’s our guy but we’ve started to love SVG too. We will always hold drivers & team accountable. As for receipts … welcome to NASCAR that’s how it works more often than not. My disappointment is both guys messed up. They didn’t communicate and 1-2 finishes out the window.

They (Kaulig) have lost this race because back markets caused x2 green white checkers. SVG had this race in the bag before that. Late race restarts at COTA are the problem. Shit happens move on. I don’t see any value in this tit for tat bs especially within a fan base. I can assure you SVG does not have that thought process as he prepares each week.

I have no doubt both guys got over it quickly. I’ve seen tons of photos of them together.

It’s very true the video evidence showed if you want to live in a world where your guy is incapable of doing nothing wrong but we will deal in facts. The video evidence showed it and no the F1 cars do not take that line at Cota.

He runs them both off the track and makes contact once briefly the other one is a total door shot. Theres photographic and video evidence. It happens your racing for a win but in this case AJ pushing the issue that early off the restart and SVG response they both messed up and it cost the team. I think Ryan and I have said it all along we will deal with content creation. You are right SVG ended up being the best car on the track that day but the point is neither one of them pulled away like they did in stage 1 and both of them made mistakes that cost the team. I much would have preferred them to finish 1-2 than what happened. They should have finished 1-2 no one else had anything for them on a long run. Not to mention AJ wouldn’t go up to Alex or Bruce (couldn’t tell which one from behind) and say what he said without the data backing him up I’m just saying don’t be surprised if similar things happen at the Glen or the Roval. Hopefully the two can communicate better and secure better finishes for both cars.

I agree...(with mintoxace) the fact that SVG's wheels are straight doesn't prove anything to me without watching onboard footage of both cars as they approach that corner. I'm not convinced at all that SVG deliberately pushed AJ out to that extent, maybe he was battling the car and trying to hold it. Onboard footage needed for me. If AJ wants payback...well...it will make next year interesting. All of we Aussies and Kiwis would recall the battle between Jamie Whincup and SVG (Team Mates!) at Eastern Creek (Sydney motorsport park) a coupla years back and the in- car audios as they were chasing down the race leader.

No where close and he he hits AJ that’s not debatable. Tell me about this teammate rivalry back in super cars though? What was that like.

@@KauligNation They were both run out wide yes. In -car footage of all cars involved needed for me to say that the extent of that was a purely deliberate act. It isn't a question of we SVG fans thinking he can do no wrong-I just think in this particular instance with his lack of familiarity with theses cars and the track it may not be quite as cut-and-dried as you are presenting.

Side drafting is absolutely a skill

@@KauligNation agree there is skill in pack racing and drafting. He wasn’t comfortable with cars around him. Stark contrast to Talledega. There was a clear set up issue. Qualifying pace was off. He qualified 5th at Daytona first time round.

Talladega and Atlanta still to come. The handing issue is because Kaulig found more speed but you sacrifice handling for that.

Believe me he’s partying, getting drunk and enjoying some well earned time off

He’s going to be doing a lot of racing next year. Honestly it has me excited what he might be capable of in the 2026 season when he has even more experience under his belt.

Hemric on the way out is certainly possible but we will see what happens. I think he’s an excellent dude and he did get a top 10 finish but he hasn’t had the results this year. We will have to see what happens.

Personally Kaulig should be looking at Harrison in the 31 as well if he still has funding. He wouldn’t be my first choice but I’d swap out Hemric for him.

I like Derek! He’s a great kid but there’s no chance he gets cup ride and frankly if they named him to the 16 xfinity ride over guys like Eckes, Sanchez and others I would be down right pissed. At some point you need to prioritize talent.

@@KauligNation I think Derek is talented imo but I see your point. Derek raced for BMR before they were fighting for titles and he did well in his Xfinity starts last year and for the sight dip in performance that Kaulig had in cup this year, he’s been alright. I hope they keep Hemric though.

@@johnobrien6869 debris from the 43 on the cup front on the xfinity front that’s going to have to be something SVG gets use to if he wants to be quick on tracks like that. AJ had the same issue and he led the most laps. It will come with more seat time

@@KauligNation That's a big call that debris caused that engine detonation. Maybe. It had to take out the cooling system and or lubrication system to cause that sort of damage in that time frame.I'm leaning more to an internal engine-bang. But proof needed either way. SVG made a clear distinction re: the xfinity car-that he had been driving to the car with the new crew chief...not his words- but that was the implication in my opinion. SVG careful with his words- so I'll translate-he was forming a working relationship with Bruce-S in a way that translated to SVG having the xfinity car set up to his evolving liking. I don't think it's coincidental that new crew chief comes on board and SVG very unhappy with the car on a track he had raced on before. SVG is very particular in how he likes his racing cars set up and he needs an engineer who can tune into how he drives and make adjustments to his driving style over the requirements of a particular track. When he is happy with the car setup he learns at an exponentially faster rate than if he is fighting a car setup he doesn't like. The track specific setup requirements become secondary in the way he drives and learns. Just my opinion/view.

@@KauligNation Kaulig posted on facebook that a bolt went through the radiator from debris from another car. Not sure how long it would have taken for him to notice a difference. I was going to go back and look at the footage, but you say it was from the #43 so maybe I don't need to look now
