Archbishop Tutu acting like the surrogate father that he obviously is to Bob Geldof. Watch this to the end. The relationship between these two men is endearing.

The Monkees on the PatSajak Show - Part II
What a shame mickey is such an immature jerk
cindy looked so darn cute ..
This is the GAYEST looking performance I have ever seen! 😄😄😄😄
And, what's your point? You sound a bit homophobic to me but then again that's your problem. What a shame that you can't enjoy a performance without brings hatred into it.
Omg this is great 👍
Look at Roy just standing there on the end acting like the adult in the room. And yet willing to pull John Byner back in from the murky depths....
They were on American Bandstand the next day and Micky wore that same outfit. I remember watching both shows.
There's not enough love in this ol' world, so spread your songs around...Thank you, Mike Douglas, for hosting these amazing musicians.
Where is this at
I would give anything to go back to the 60s and 70s
That was fun and whole lot of silly too.
Byner was out of control. Uncalled for jealousy.
I ❤ this song and video.
It's a shame Mickey ruined those nice moments acting like an idiot. 😢
Davy had a lot of class 👍😍 love you 4ever David Jones ♥♥♥

Impressive. Helluva team!
Roy got left out on this arrangement. Great music, glad this is still available to watch. Only John, Bobby and Mickey left from this segment?
Classic
Classic music and talent
This band could have been successful but I think Dolenz clown act probably killed any respect for the music.
Original air date February 27th, 1976. Season 14, episode #130 - Mike Douglas Show. Laverne & Shirley premiered just a month prior, on the ABC network January 26, 1976. It became an immediate hit and would air until 1983. Cindy Williams passed away on January 25, 2023, age 75. Tommy Boyce 11/23/94 aged 55, Davy Jones 2/29/2012 aged 66, Peter Tork 2/21/19 aged 66, and Michael Nesmith 12/10/21 aged 78.
Roy and Mike also died. John, Mickey and Bobby only are still living from this segment
I taped this show on my cassette recorder. Along with Dinah Shore, American Bandstand, and Rock Concert. Still have the cassettes, but they haven’t faired very well over the years.
Wow. This is awesome 😎
Mickey Dolenz is so unfunny and needy, you can’t watch this. Byner insufferable too. The others cool.
Jesus, could have done without Dolenz, what an insecure mess.
One of my favorites!
Micky in those jumpsuits....SEXY!!!
GREAT 😃
Davey got a unibrow going here. Mickey needs an Ativan.
Right guys, wrong decade. If the album had come out in the '80s, it might have been huge.
The label put these band together to revive The Monkeys type of sound. It was a dismal fail.
GREAT PEPOLE, GREAT MUSICIAN, GREAT SONG....THEY WILL NEVER BACK TO FILL UP OUR HEART AGAIN . THANK YOU GUYS
AND I ALWAYS THOUGHT THERE WAS ONLY ONE DANNY HUTTON. L.O.L.
Sorry. Looks horrible! They could at least lip synch a little better
Well, it was 1976....perspective.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
1:27: Mike Douglas looks like he really, REALLY needs to race to the bowl for an emergency.
Mickey and Davy had very distinctive voices. You knew right away who was singing. Great talents.
Oh yeah
Davey said during one of his interviews that Mickey had a flying pan face. Yes he does.
Skillet Face is what he refers him as in his autobiography.
Davy😘
