I thought I’d build a few show files to start out and really dig into what the Live Digital Mixing Console has to offer….with unbelievable channel strip options, limitless point to point routing I am excited and honored to take this out this weekend!     Do you use those four (4) headphone outs on the Wing for in-ear mixes? Can they be used like regular bus outs where you route anything to them?

      @@rufuscrowder1309 great question. So I am using them but they are tied to Bus 1-8 one to 1. I have a Y stereo to dual mono cable coming out of 1/2 and 3/4 so that gives me the choice of 4 IEMS or 4 wedges. Then outputs 5-8 is normal XLR. When using the IEMS it’s all hooked up and if I wanna use a wedge on that bus; I just use the XLR out and send it to the IEM. who cares? Maybe they wanna double up? I havnt found any limits, though I do have the SD16 so that gives me 8 more XLR outs when I want to use all 4 IEMS and all 5 of my wedges plus drive MainLR and sub out. Hope that helps!!

      @@frankieamado2449 I’ve been asked this and I guess my question is Why do you think you need a show file? It’s super easy to make one for yourself and I’ve made a few for different situations depending on if I have snakes/bands vs orchestras vs choirs.

      @@HATCH_KTV bands show up without a split every once in a while. Makes it a little easier to plug in the XLR too

      @@SonicFlowAudio Thanks! sick setup, I 'm actually ripping it off a little for my 12U Gator :) a few questions: - Does our drawer have cutouts in the back to route cables? - Newbie q, the splitter in the back with all the labels, since you're using AES50, can you repurpose the outputs from the mixer for something else? - What's your take on the Radial vs a Furman?

      @@temores4 no cut outs for the drawer. The panel on the back is just plugged directly into the outputs of the mixer. No preference I just liked the utility outlets on the front when making the rig.

      @SonicFlowAudio there are no Ethercon barrels on your AES50 ports and the ethercon barrel is where it grounds properly. It's a good way to get ESD and destroy your AES50 ports. Ethercon barrels with ground Continuity between both ends is spec. ​@@SonicFlowAudio

      @ I have ground and I’m not sending more than 30 feet. No jacket required. I’m not spending $300 on a 100’ cable. Ground is through the shield. Al my stuff is shielded and grounded. Where do you think the ground goes into the cable? These are perfectly fine my friend. Been using them for 10 years no problems.

    Can you say more about that sweet custom breakout panel at the top rear of the rack…where did you get something like that?

      @@mikedrennan5827 It started as a blank panel and I bought each insert and bought cables and soldered them in. Some of them are pass through, you can find more about it on my instagram!

      @@frankieamado sure. I’m out of office right now I’ll see if I can get a good starting point. I do not turn any effects on. This will just be labels and filters to save time during sound check. There won’t be a “mix”. Probably won’t even be routing since there’s so many ways you can do it!

    Do you get a slight buzzing noise in the top right corner of the front panel? The buzzing noise is connected to the LEDs, so the pitch changes depending on the LED intensity.

    I like your build idea. The Soundwaves look like they fit well side by side. Are you going to add carpeting or foam padding?

      Thank you! I'm experimenting with different things right now. I have thick carpet down on the bottom of the speaker cases and just floor mats under the cables for now. In the next video I'll show what that looks like so stay tuned!

    Stuff still uses AA batteries? Everything I have uses 18650 cells

      sure do! All my wireless stuff is AA (mics and IEMs). My laser distance measure and dB meter are 9v and I buy all my flashlights to be AAA or rechargeable. Got plenty of options for both so I’m never without light or the tools I need. I can charge and or power pretty much anything with this kit.

      @@SonicFlowAudio I hope they stop doing that eventually because they’re so inferior, almost everything I use takes 18650 cells, some of which I added that ability, but it’s so convenient because they last forever and you can switch them out in one second rather than charging the device, and you can buy them for $6 each and never again

    So will the next video show all a thief needs to have a brand new trailer with E-track, straps and other accessories. Is a floor jack, a DeWalt impact with the correct lug socket and spare trailer tire???? Do yourself a favor and go grab a few of either Tile, Apple Airtag or Samsung Smart Tags and epoxy them out of sight.

      I guess companies should never show how things are done since it'll all get stolen, huh?. I have a boot, an airtag, puck locks, three hitch locks and chain locks...it is very safe.
