Great timing on this video. Putting has been in a dark place and these ideas had me rolling it pure. Hands were definitely too much on top of the grip. Using these concepts with a double overlap grip.

Good drill. I have a tendency to lift my heel early in my downswing which leads to my hands flipping through impact. Going to give a few of these a go during my next practice session.

Why not do my Twirl Golf Swing? Simply put: at the top of one’s backside with subtle quickness twirl your handle clockwise (never counterclockwise) using both your hands and wrists working together. This one swing thought will place centrifugal force on your club head soaring it down through your ball turning your body to your lead side for your glorious finish. My one magic swing thought also serve secondary benefits such as keeping you in your golf posture; keeping your arm close to your chest; facilitate rotation; and above all else prevents premature extension. Cheers 😊🥂👍❤️ Hope you try it for yourself. And feel free to teach it as well. Only if you use a side on grip. If you’re a side cover or on top grip golfer, your elbow will be behind your ribcage-aka Jack Nicklaus and Scottie Scheffler. We don’t all move in the same manner. You don’t have to believe me, ask Mike Adams or Terry Rowles.

Love your videos. My current swing fault is my head getting ahead of the ball at impact, usually head ahead of hips; leads to low-left pulls . Could you do a video with drills for me to get past this?

If you are referring to ONLY a bump n run, then I agree with this. However, for higher shots with more spin I find hinging the club with a longer backswing to be very helpful. Once I switched to a longer, lazier swing my short game really improved. A short backswing along with driving the handle limited my short game and led to shanks when I’d try to hit a higher one over a bunker.
