Repairing a worn manual window regulator in an 1980 ford f100

Bullnose tip of the day. You don’t have to continue putting up with stiff, chattery, binding roll up windows. One zip tie, a hammer and a little grease makes them new again. One thing to note. You may need to drill out the rivets to remove the regulator, I replace them with short 1/4’ bolts and lock bolts. #bullnoseford #manualwindows #f100

After battling the horrible pre detonation issues with my small block 351w I finally came to the conclusion that the carb itself was the problem. I switched it out with a 750 double pumper I had on my big block and it solved the issue. In conclusion the old carb was starving the engine for fuel and part throttle. I quick rundown on how I installed working air conditioning in my 1980 F100. In a nutshell I used all factory ford parts from a 1986 f150. The only new parts used were the receiver dryer, o-rings, and r12 to R134 adapter.
