@AnotherTrucking Oh yes it is very poor in any kind of wind, I'm surprised it's even marketed with any kind of wind resistance tbh. Good vid BTW love it at Humber Bridge, I took my Mini 3 there a few months back. Hoping to take my new 4 there soon for a fly

I have the goggles set to D-log to have the same colour as the recording camera you can have it higher iso to see better but then you'd get all blocky and grainy blacks which looks awful and if you have it set to auto iso it changes it too much going from light to dark areas to have a consistent footage without drastic changes so it's best to set a max iso I usually have It set to a max of 400 or 600 on a night and 100 during the day to get half decent footage that doesn't shift the brightness up and down, it's a balancing standoff between having it bright enough to see well or and poor footage or decent footage and see a little less and hope you see the lamposts I've hit them when it's been bright sunshine, The last lamppost I hit was middle of the day chasing someone with a large heavy lift drone and brand new gopro hit it around 70mph destroyed the gopro and had to rebuild part of the carbon frame. To get it decent so youtube compression doesn't make it look bad I upload 4k and 1080 with 50 - 60mbs fixed bitrate and it keeps it pretty clean it's awkward at night I usually use 50fps aswell I feel the 60 and 100fps don't seem to capture it quick enough maxing out settings especially low light that could be using cheap memmory cards aswell, I've had days when I've lost 3 or 4 drones in a day just trying to get a shot it starts to feels weird when you progress and come home with your drones in 1 piece 😀. Just have a slow fly or walk about checking for things first before trying, If you spot me anywhere feel free to give us a shout I usually have a set of goggles and drone with me all the time i work all around the city daily and live west I've not tried a dji mini with goggles since they added the feature I did borrow one to try but didn't get time to test it because we were staying at a racetrack where they are banned and for permissions they require you to submit all insurance details and stuff to the Fia months in advance hopefully either next May or the finals in September I'll be chasing them down the track at the night racing the top fuel drag cars look amazing at night with flames coming out the top, The tracks fine with me flying but strict regulations with the Fia is out of their control for safety reasons the cars do 300+ mph in a few seconds which is no joke loads of rules to follow like no glass on site it's awkward but more beer glasses and bottles is what they look for not camera equipment.

@EniokiFPV yeah, I need it at the minute can't be done with waiting for replacements to arrive it's the random meltdowns unpredictability that your constantly thinking about while flying doesn't promote confidence at all

@@AnotherTrucking I can definitely see how that would be unnerving. Im sure anyone in our hobby can tell that it is a cinewhoop just by looking at it. Its also not too bad for those looking to break into long-range flying since it has all those failsafe protections and extraordinary battery life. It certainly has its place within the hobby. Ripping hard is just not one of them. My $95 analog tiny whoop blows it out of the park every single time I fly with my friend.

@paulhazlewood1840 I was impressed this was my first flight with it cant fault it for the cost. You have to love and hate dji can't say ive been disappointed in any ive flown I even like the big potato flys good in high winds aswell

@RayRay-zc2ed you could fly it at night in manual but taking off in low light almost didn't work out too well for me

The Neo lacks an official IP rating for water resistance, making it vulnerable to moisture damage. Even a small amount of water can harm its sensitive electronics. But i usually dont mind a little rain so it will be tested sooner or later by me had a few flights in very light rain upto now

No with the Controller 3 & Goggles 3, the motion controller is nice for cinematic type stuff and the automatic drift you can do i liked that but not really used it much not tried the Neo with it yet either been rather windy for it and hard work flying such light stuff

No not at all, they arnt very eco friendly at all all things considered manufacturing wise / materials etc and haven't brought any price decreases for people either

@Alex-x4m9 Cheers, i think it flys amazing for what it is but definitely but not for learning acro,I push big and small drones to their limits so people are under no illusions buying them and personally so I know the actual capabilitys so I don't say I can do something and the drone fail me because I was pushing it. The Avata 2 was impressive when I was trying to get a shot of lightening and was sat in the low clouds and rain with wind warnings it got pummeled for at least 10 mins in the rain with no issues the neo has only had some light showers but I will try it no doubt at some point definitely a remarkable little thing the Neo everything I expected can't fault Dji really I consider all their drones just camera drones and not really what I'd call an fpv drone

Yes, I've not added no colour grading or anything it was ideal conditions plenty of light. If I've used a LUT or adjusted anything I usually put a message at the start

@rwlauterbach yeah it was struggling quite abit and was very windy off the river, its surprising how much of the picture it crops off to stabilise and just uses 1/4 of the video in the middle

@@tamphung just been out in crazy wind with it done 4k vs 1080 at the same heights aswell. In low light its better with 30fps lets more light in

@noisy_boi_fpv_3920 makes it not look so bad but was on a 45 degree angle with the wind no way I wasn't having a quick fly you've got to push this shit to know it's capabilities truely

this is using the osd recording so its not gunna be stabilised
