The scene at home right before he dances outside with his dad, he makes a face just like his dad. The dance itself, as opposed to all the others, is dad following the son and clumsily so, which is because it is based on the son's imagination, not on what the son learns. When the dad is in the car again, the son makes the same movement (where he has his hand under his chin) like he did when he slowly started mimicking his father. Him pushing the car was like him pretending his dad came home at the end of the day. But the son is exhausted, leaning on the car. And then he gives up and turns into his dad. Earlier in the video we see a father/son dancing in red clothing. They exhibit a good relationship. The son follows the queues from his dad but freely. The pair in yellow has the father forcing his son into what he wants him to be. One or two moves seems to mimick physical abuse. And yet, the lonely son only seems to see a boy who has his father around. As for myself, my father died when he was 43, and I was 23. He was always there but especially the last 10 years never really present. He was an alcoholic. Not violent at all, but progressively he turned inward, slipping away. Eventually I realised why that was and I'm not angry anymore, but as a teen it wasn't easy.
