Thank you so much I’m currently 17 now and I’m about to be 18 next year and your words really helped because I’ve been dealing with all kinds of hurt for the past 14 years and I really wanna move out but all the adults always make it seem so hard and like I’m trying to be ungrateful but it’s to the point where my mental state is in shambles my self confidence is no where to be seen and I have no social life, no teenage memories. I would love to move out at 19 too, I am 18 now and planning to get a part time job to gain enough money. But I am scared for the sake of my parents. Because I am here with them they calm themselves down and rarely argue, even when they do I am always there to control the situation before it gets really bad. And I don't want my dad to have to move away to some nasty apartment neither do I want him to move in with me or my sister because either way it won't be good. The problem is that my parents always argue with each-other. They already had a divorce but they have to live together for the sake of taking care of me in the past. Now that I am a legal adult I am stuck in crossroads. So what's your advice?

thank you so much for this i am on foodstamps so food will be VERY easy!! but i have to move out soon i am currently homeless and living with my friend and her very toxic people.. im working minimum wage at atleast $900 a month i have good credit but i try my best to save but i have a bad spending habit anywho i have a touring tomorrow and im hoping i am able to pay well..its scary idk what really to do but i have no choice, what do you do for work?? i work $14 an hour is that good?

Im so similar, I grew up in an extremely strict and abusive household to the point I live in fear. I have never hanged out with friends or gone out unless it’s with parents and never was allowed to work until now,18. I’ve been getting told like I’m 18 why am k still here and the college I want to go to is an hour away anyways. I’m suffocated here and didn’t want to leave my mom and siblings here but I feel like even here will get better once I leave, I am going to start working now and move out at 19 like you.
