where did you get th hand modles?
for fixing the death animations, maybe also make it so they fall in the opposite of the direction they were shot from
the muzzle flash looks a bit weird, maybe make it a random rotation each shot
Krunker doesn't really do reloading right, it does it to save development and make Krunker more competitive, as fancy reload animations sometimes get in the way of your focus.

That reaload animation (gun going down, then reaload) is super old, so that game is not really doing anything new. For an indie dev having that type of animation may be benifical like you said, as it gives you more time to work on other things. But many people like the aesthetics of a gun in a video game, and the realod animations of different guns is also a part of that aesthetics that people want to see.
I don't know why people are mad. It's like 1 year passed and they expect you to become from noobie indie dev to AAA game dev or what? You stated you start this from scratch, self learning it. In the first few months there are tons of information to absorb not just unity but other softwares like blender, besides you have a life, school etc. also some part of the gamemaking is defenetly falls into the "more harder than it actually looks" category, for example the level designing, or coding a funcional AI. Everyone needs to start somewhere and you defenetly going to the right direction. I hope in the future i can make my own FPS too! :)
This is actually impressive. I am still not able to make my character deal against stair steps unless i have to jump over the steps. I use diffrent game engine btw, but i believe it works the same

Krunker's reloads are extremely fucking boring and unsatisfying, i recommend the game tho
Yes but then its generic, have procedural animations for things like movement (walk, strafe, tilt, run, jump, etc) and visual recoil will save allot of time, but I still firmly believe in using unique key framed animations for the complex stuff like reloading or drawing with a slide pull.
You can ise instead of a box collider a cone of eaycasts for tge enemys, its more realistic

I got a suggestion, so I make games with Unity, and if you want the lighting to be astronomically better, use the universal render pipeline, and not the default one. It's not too difficult, and you'll have access to better lighting, shader graph, and other cool stuffs! Good luck!

Good first game i would recoomed making your first few games free to get more feedback and make more projects that take less time instead of one project thar takes a year maybe challange yourself to make a game in a month or something like that

Ahhh Krunker, the game that has the Insane players that can Slide-jump at the speed of light yet having a built-in organic aimbot in their brains. I love this game
obsolutely quality over quantity, i do not care about mp games anymore unless they are satisfying. ie mw 2019, mw2 2022, titanfall 2, basically anything hyper touches lmao.

The last half of the vid makes the firtst half pointless, just say from the beginning that this is a tipp for dev`s with less man power.
It's something you see hundreds or thousands of times during a playthrough for indie it's fine I guess but for everything else nogo
This works really well in developing stage so you can throw in and try out and adjust many guns, but on final result reload is very important for fps games, cuz gun is only thing you can see normally from yourself so the way you interact with it is really important

i got an idea no matter what gun, the animation will be: -lower gun -pull out imaginary magazine -put in same magazine again -slap weapon -gun goes back up
