Thanks bud. Was really really tough conditions. Varying vision and grip levels meant I don’t think I blinked. Yeah lessons learnt. We are working on the heater positioning for the next round. All a learning curve but yeah everyone who went off were fine but some drivers cars were in a fair state.

Yeah we are about the same power bud a fair bit heavier bud. Also top cars all running new tires for races so helps a lot with corner exit speed. Cheers bud, oh we always push

Pretty typical for a one make series, the cars are all so similar over taking is never easy

It is by far one of the most competitive one make championships which means we are all pushing the limits of the cars and can lead to contact but there is loads of respect between us all. I am still running the same front and rear bumper for the past 3 seasons so it isn’t too bad and only had 1 dnf due to contact.

Thanks Scott. Got to race with respect mate if you want it back. Regarding the car, I left the engine running while in park ferme so the fans help cool the engine down but yeah it isn’t great for the discs. I always try and do a cool down lap to let the air cool down the discs but in that case wasn’t possible and can increase the chance of the disc buckling or cracking.

Haha to be honest when editing I was looking forward to hearing what I said at the time. Remember coming off track and thinking that was very close to the wall. Oh wait till you see what race two brings. Worst conditions I have ever drove in.

Yeah wasn’t ideal, especially with how close race 1 was to qualifying. Meant it was really close making the race.

Haha I did bud. Slide was during practice and gave the Marshall a thumbs up. It wasn’t the only slide of the session, i can tell you that haha. Will be an interesting watch for sure

Cam car move across on the brakes and took away a cars length of braking distance, car behind was already committed. Totally normal racing incident

It’s just opinion but he shouldn’t have been that committed under yellows hence why me and the car infront both braked earlier than previous laps

Excellent race snetterton can be a difficult track fast and tricky.

@@richardthompson7133for me I find it the hardest track of the calendar. Some tracks lend itself to you and car and that track for me doesn’t seem to suit either

Well , Been following cmmcs , hot hatch championship an then the typ r championship an I gess UA-cam learns what you like to watch . I'm hoping to get on the track an start racing in the next couple of years and I I'm a type r man through an through. I love your comantry an how calm you are in each race

Cheers Scott. Trust me, I was glad to see it was just radiator cap had come off, nothing major but very disappointing. It was a hard hit for sure. I only stopped racing kite as Lewis Kent was on the grass on the right and was under yellows. Yeah the next race we tried something with the car and in worked, next upload will be Thursday next week at 6pm. Thanks for the support bud

Thanks bud. Car is built to civic cup spec. Full spec can be found in regulations on civic cup website but essentially car is 240 bhp and close to 1250kg with driver and fuel

Is she a standard type r ?

It is built to regs of the civic cup bud. If you go on the website and go onto 2024 civic cup regs you can see exactly what is done. Engine is standard other that bolt on parts and a map and done 136,000 miles. Makes around 240 bhp

Engine wise it is standard internals with a race exhaust system including manifold and a uprated intake manifold. Then a great map done by tpwengineering. Makes just less than 240 horse. Then fully stripped with cage and a lot of suspension work. Just standard brakes with good fluid and pbs pads

I could tell it was holding you back a lot. It’s fine bud. It’s on me to find room on track for quali. You were on a lap yourself.
