I was there, 14 years old, my 3rd concert ever and all three in that same great year (1982). Does anyone remember the massive food fight? The M80’s being set off around the stands? Every band was great.

I was born in the late 60s, but i love Steve Perry's songs. He is such a talented singer with a great voice. Nobody can ever copy his styles in singing. You are a legend Steve Perry.

I watch this video daily. I just can't get enough of Steve Perry. I so wish the camera was always on Steve. I'm not interested in the other guys. Their voice, hair and looks come nowhere close to Steve!! I know they're an essential part of the band, but IMO Steve WAS JOURNEY!! jmo

I'm loving these videos! This is just one of dozens I've seen so far. And I have to tell you Steve Perry is very much the standout member in this band! I've heard that one of the reasons he walked away was because he never felt accepted or appreciated by some of the other members. Well, it's pretty clear they're NOT the same band without him. They are ALL great musicians but Steve is a STAR 🌟
