Can you see the dashboard from cerbo screen ?

Hello and barvo for the video I wanted to ask you if it is possible to install the bms from victron (16S for a packlife that I have in 48 volts? 600AH)? or do you have to have a victron battery? my batteries are EVE 280AH in 16/2P can we wire all the batteries with the bms from victron or do we need a bms compatible with the victron? otherwise is it possible if there is no can in the battery pack to tell victron (multiplus and cerbo GX) that I have a lead gel battery pack? there is no bms on the lead in general? my pack can be protected by its own BMS cutoff 2.80 volts and maximum charge at 3.65 volts Possibly just to emit more or less on the multiplus? thank you laurent

Can the Multiplus II be setup / programmed through Victron Connect via a Cerbo GX connected to the internet?

Hi Peter, on the SMART BMS CL, do you notice the orange and yellow LED lights remaining on? The red LED is not on. Is this the correct function. Lastly, don’t notice a LYNX DC distributor. It’s looks like you used a different busbar. Is this more advantageous?

Excellent! Thank you so much for this exciting information. I have an ongoing issue with some of my Victron SmartSolar 100/50 controllers which I am hoping can be resolved with this solution. Of the six 100/50 they regularly randomly decided to NOT wake up in the morning. Despite having a solar panel voltage above 60v, they still not charnging. The workaround would be to go into the battery configuration, disable the controller, wait until the pop-up to enable the controller appears, then enable the controller. The controller will then immediate spring back into action and start charging. It apperas to be a firmware bug which Victron has with these contollers. The other two Victron 150/100 never experience this issue. Only happens to my 100/50 conrollers. Hopefully with Code Red, I can get them to perform a self check at 6am every morning on the solar panel voltage, if this exceeds a certain theshold and the controller is still not in the charging mode, to cycle to the disable/enable action to wake up the controller.

Great batteries! The most energy dense on the market, the only thing that comes close is the 12V 330Ah from Victron as well.

Can you tell me which relay is controlled by the soft switch on the Cerbo GX GUI? It's called Relay 2 but I'm not sure which device its controlling. There are relay outs on my Cerbo, Lynx BMS, and Inverter/charger.

Hi,this video was very clear and helpfull to get it to work.I have tried to communicate with the cerbo from my local PC via a paho.client. I got connection but not a response based on the Topics as described in some docs. I only could get the data if I used node red by forwarding the input data through mqtt out to my local mosquitto broker. Is there a way to receive the data directly without using inbuild broker in the cerbo? Thanks in advvance for your help

It all sounds really interesting, unfortunately for me as a total non geek, I think I'm lacking the base knowledge to make use of it, 56 years old never did computers at school, never played computer games or really even used a computer for anything past basic form filling. Hopefully somebody will see a opportunity to offer support like website builders and set up node red functionality for reasonable cost.

Finally I see where the trickle charge terminals are! The manual only says it can charge a starter battery. I just ordered a Multiplus II

Thanks for this video! I'm that geek power user you mentioned at the end of the video. I have an off-grid bunkie at a marina where I keep my boat. This allows me to turn on my golf cart charger connected to a smart plug only when I have surplus energy (when the charger state = float), instead of a fixed schedule.

Victron is a great brand, but nearly $1000 for a 100ah battery is outrageous - especially when you consider they are not producing the cells, BMS, etc. Crazy expensive

You say you have to dod this with a MK3 USB interface but that's not the case if you have a Cerbo. You can do it through the cerbo but when I tried to go ahead and do it I got about 3 warnings about removing certain components, inverters etc. Interesting you only had 1 warning in this video. I'm trying to program my new Victron 2000/12/80 multiplus, just want to make sure I'm not screwing it up installing the firmware. Thx

I tried doing this with LAN Ethernet port as I don't have the USB mk3. The MP Ii didn't show up as a device though. Is the mk3 required for this to work?
