In North Wales you have Yarn O'Clock in Moĺd - small and no acrylic but a beautiful selection and the owner is lovely. Go on a Wednesday and Saturday and there's a street market too. That Swansea shop looked lovely!

Wonderful yarns, and you definitely went to the right places for yarn shopping in Istanbul. Kurkcu Han is one of the place you can find most of the yarn brands. And first and third places where you went in Kadikoy are nice places. There are other many stores all over Istanbul but it would be so hard to take bus etc and go those places. And most of them are local places and not in touristic locations. I have a huge yarn stash in Turkey and when I go to Turkey each time I am trying to bring very small portion of it with me to UK 😅 it may take forever.

If you're ever back you absolutely must visit the welsh wool shop in Newcastle Emlyn ot all about local produced wool.
