[Back in the Saddle] ‘60 F100 Frame Swap Ep:27
What’s up, Builders? Took a 6 month hiatus from the #f100 truck project. Replaced the rear glass in the cab and installed a new seal. It’s torn to shreds but we didn’t break the glass, so that’s cool. After banging my knees on the steering wheel for the 100th time, I finally decided to do something about it. Swapped out the stock #lincolntowncar steering wheel with a much (possibly too much) smaller wheel by Grant.

Tractor-Kart Project Pt.1

What’s up, Builders? This is the first installment of my custom go kart build. Picked up this 50's Bantam #tractor frame and decided to put it to use as a #go kart. #predator 212 powered with scrap metal, #diy parts, and old #motorcycle parts. This will have to be a 2 part (maybe 3) build until I’m happy with it. Lots of fun and learning with this little tractor-kart, stay tuned for more update...

That's no mere mirror! That's a mir-ROAR! RAAAAWRRRR XD
Aw hell YEAH
Please kill the music, it will make a better video.
Good to see you working on it again. I still consider mine a ratrod as well. Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
I gotta do something with it. If I just sit around and watch your progress videos, I’ll never get it done. Yessir, A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!
8:40 1000, folks. You saw it, I saw it. I kinda like that the colors don't completely match. You did solid work on the rear windshield, bro.
💪🏻
How did you take chrome grill off
I wasn’t as careful as this guy is in the video: ua-cam.com/video/VtAuaJfJOks/v-deo.htmlsi=Reyvkcec_i6gIgvX But for the little plastic clips you squeeze, a long pair of curved pliers worked well. Good luck 👊🏻
do you think you could get by with out service mode and take out exhaust for oil filter housing and what do you feel is harder oil filter housing replacment or thermostate and pipe?
If you achieve the oil filter housing removal to replace the gasket without going into F.E.S.M. I commend your work. I don’t believe I could have gotten the exhaust manifold off to really prep the area unless you make that extra bit of room. It only gave me an additional like 3” but I believe it was necessary… Ive done 2 thermostat replacements on my r56. Thermostat is a pain and the crossover pipe sucked when it broke into those sharp little shards. But, if I’m being honest… I’d say doing the oil filter housing gasket replacement was easier. Front End Service Mode made extra room, Id then jack the mini up way high about 2 feet off the ground. Higher the better.
I understood that reference! You press them bearings like an iron giant! No following!
You stay. No following. 😭
Your camera person was outstanding! The action shots of the original test drive were well done!
I’ll pass on the compliment. Their rates are ridiculous tho. 👊🏻
Love it! Snow shovel attachment next?
That’s a good idea. 👊🏻
NOICE!
Blue shell incoming! Looks epic, dude.
👊🏻
You get your windshield wipers to work?
I got 1 going but haven’t tried the passenger side yet. Just another thing I’ve been putting off 😒 ua-cam.com/video/S0dfyUp8Dc8/v-deo.htmlsi=d-wL8Ybzi4lI92pr 17:37
@ hey that’s 1 more than me lol. And same but with this rain season coming I’m having to push windshield wipers up the list lol
What did you do for the gas filler neck

@@RCXBuildsIt very cool thanks for the reply. I need to find like a 90 degree angle one or something for my chassis swap
@@Hoodlumz187 Good luck finding a solution . I’m goin through some of your uploads now 👊🏻
😂🤙
I'd already done the crossover pipe due to a huge coolant leak, it's such a PITA job I don't know why you can't get a metal replacement. Now tackling the oil filter housing seals as there's a burning oil smell when stationary, can't locate leak but guessing it's this as it's so common. Struggled to put in service mode as it's a 2007 and it won't slide forward more than about 2cm, hopefully enough room. I was warned about Mini's, but my son wanted one!
Sounds like you are on to something. Idle smoke smell and burning coolant at red lights was driving me crazy. I wish you luck with it. Yea plastic crossover pipe, I bet there’s an aluminum replacement somewhere $$$ tho
I have an oil leak and I suspect it’s the filter housing gasket. I’ve done many thermostats on these and some waterpumps. That plastic connection that runs across the back of engine is a nightmare to connect. The pin that goes in to secure it is at a stupid angle. You spend more time actually trying to get it in place. I can’t believe I will need to do all this work just to get to the filter housing out. Another stupid design.
Best of luck to you 👊🏻 Yea the crossover pipe and the thermostat was rough especially since the plastic connector broke behind the water pump when I tried to take it out. Just so brittle. Some guys can get to the oil filter housing area without front end service mode but, the design, it’s too tight.
good video yet crappy background music
Noted, appreciate the feedback 👊🏻
@@RCXBuildsIt i loved the music
@@diversity78 Thanks, there are moments where the music drowns out what I’m trying to say. Hopefully future videos I’ll pay more attention to music/ sound ratios when editing 👊🏻
How the hell did you get that past the push rod if you didn’t take the head off?
Look again, he didnt get anything past anything
@@jonnyf9049he just covered it in silicone and stuffed it back in there😂
Watched @twowheelrocco video and tried to follow his instructions here on UA-cam. It didn’t work out, still leaked like crazy It would’ve been better to just disassemble the motor to replace the seal. Good luck 👊🏻
The stupid audio track drove me away…
Idk why I chose to repeat the same audio here. It gets old quick. Appreciate the feedback
That's not the way I thought it was going to go. I thought the old lift would still be on the SIDE.
I’d like to see what you’re talking about. Is there a video you could reference to the jack assembly being on the side?
Thats amazing dude! I vote leave the paint as is, but it's your choice! Absolutely scoot the seat forward for them. Great shots there, bro
One of the point, I’d like to say to you, and I don’t know if you’ve moved on, but I found some caster wheels that I put on the very bottom with nearly 600 kg capacity which made it easier to move the table around my workshop my partner calls it man tent but we won’t go there.
I eventually put some on the lift so I could position it better in the garage. It made a huge difference
you’re little awesome. He stole the show, probably not so small now.
Nope he’s getting big. Still steals the show lol
Dang it, RCX-BreaksIt Need to RCX-BrakeCheck
COOL!
Need to work out some more issues with it. Gotta make it faster!
Glad I found your channel, thank you for your idea on the platform, wicked
Awesome, it was fun to build
Speed. I am speed.
It looks like if you moved the body/hood and grill forward a bit then you would have more room for yourself to ride that thing...But it is kind of cool.
This thing is sick I need one in my life
Nice job, I refuse to work on the floor anymore, thanks for the video
Thanks! Yea get off the ground
That is awesome dude. LOVE THE CONTENT. You're a master builder. (facepalm @ 13:50! Cut that, cut that, cut that! JK)
lol it got stuck on my broken up driveway
How is the kick and spread? Are the people to your sides happy campers?
Kick is minimal now with that Limbsaver Pad on the stock/ butt. They weren’t too close with their targets butt at 25 yards I could tell the spread was well over 12” with #8 shot and the 00 buckshot was still effective (against the paper/ cardboard silhouette I hit).
Ooooooooh Sicccck
I was having to shake the spent shells out since there’s no extractor on the shotty. I like the slo-mo bit at the end👌🏻
Smmokin!
Invite the grinch....destroy christmas!!!!
Truck is looking great!
Thank ya!
looking good.
Thanks!
Warm day, bucket, clothesline rope, dawn dishwashing liquid and an assistant will make the rear window much easier..
Oh dude, nice nice. I like the two tone. It POPS at 7:28, love it Circle window for a square hole?
👊🏻 thanks boss It looks weird with just the bed being painted. Gotta get on it. Yea it’s weird, the window is gonna be a challenge
GROOVY BOOMSTICK What an absolute beauty. I didn't think I was on board with sawing off the barrel but man you made it work! Love the admiration you have for it.
Gotta take it to the range. See how bad it shoots now the chokes are gone.
Love this !!!
Trying to find a way to seal the patina on the can now. Put some clear coat on it hope it helps.
Waiting for burnouts👀
One wheel banana peel over here Heck, treads almost gone Before I replace the tires I’ll be sure to burn some rubber 👊🏻

@@AgatasKatkus *Lincoln Lock* (Bzzzzzt BZZZZZZZT BZZZZRRRRRTTTT)

✋🏻👌🏻
Leave it kinda hidden would be my vote as I found this wanting a hidden tilt on shed
“Leave it kinda hidden”, it’s behind the garage so the only one who sees it is me I guess lol
And I hate that you had to move those ladders around that much that wasn’t yellow or orange. They are awesome and well worth their money for a handyman. But house/garage construction ideas. Nope. Keep a 6-8 foot fiberglass around or find one after buy a gorilla ladder or the other one.
Yellow or orange ladders are your preference? I have a Louisville ladder I believe it’s orange. But the folding modular ladder is my go to.
@@RCXBuildsItyes. My pref as they maybe more limited but just lighter.
Btw. I commented kinda forgetting the previous part of the video. Half butt rewatching the video, I seen a lot of the orange ladder.
