I've had this problem for ages on both of my Xantias. Even after cleaning and greasing the entire mechanism and replacing the cable, it still buckled after only a few tries. The only thing I can think of to permanently solve this issue is to strengthen this part of the cable slightly, to make sure it won't buckle anymore. I'd consider it a design flaw of the Xantia

not sure what this is but it looks like the metal wire was rubbed into the plastic which might be causing the stiffness. maybe just shave away a little where the wire is sliding through

What is the problem in here? Does it need to grease the cable?

Tiny corrections like that can't be corrected in the system. It needs larger offsets in order to achieve the correct hydraulic pressure.

Very logical way to reduce the massive footprint required to turn a huge bus around. Obviously derived from the days of the steam locomotive and well applied, too.

Why are there "no entry" signs on some doors? Are they for exiting only?

Schade das der Bus nicht mehr fährt. Habe selbst den Museumsbus nicht mehr fahren sehen. Dementsprechend auch die Drehplatte nicht in Betrieb gesehen. Die Modernen O Busse haben ja noch für genau diese Strecke einen Verbrenner Antrieb um hoch auf die Burg zu gelangen.

In Magdeburg fihr bis in die 70ziger Jahre auch der O Bus , zBsp Haberstädter Str bis Ottersleben , in Erinnerung auch in Buckau am Puppentheater vorbei , war cool.
