🎥 wonderful Movie 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for watching!
Very nicely done video with an extraordinary lion encounter!!!
Thank you very much! Thanks for watching!
I had a RAW suspension put on my 2022 Fortuner, which gave me about a 50mm lift. I have been very happy with the result. I also tow, and would be interested to know if you get any sag when you hook up your camper before you use your airbags. I get about a 15mm sag which they say is normal. My camper only ways about 960kg
I definitely notice a sag having towed since these upgrades, but not nearly as pronounced as with the stock suspension. I’ve got the “comfort” springs at the rear and the “medium” springs at the front (for the bumper and winch weight). I’ll inflate the air helpers more when the vehicle is loaded and I’m towing to level it out.
Excellent. Had much the same setup on my 200 and it worked very well
Thanks G! How’s your new build going?
4:38 nice capture of the elephants interacting with the humans around camp 🐘 ⛺️ 👌👏👏👏
I first visited Africa in May 1998. Later that month I was hitch-hiking back from Kariba to my friends' farm near Banket. When who should pull up and offer me a lift but renound Zim guide Steve Pope. Steve was heading to Chitake camp for a lion walking safari and rather easily convinced me to join him and the small group he was picking up from a canoe safari. We didn't see lions on this trip, but needless to say, the experience was one I'll treasure forever. I've since heard of Steve's passing and treasure many moments I spent with this incredible soul of Africa. In particular, two "mock" elephant charges, where a large male elephant appeared, quiet as a mouse, out of nowhere. In the mayhem that followed (thinking that Steve was about to die and that I was going to run) I took two "shots" on my trusty FM2. It was pretty hairy as the big guy meant business, trumpeting loudly as the dust rose up and over Steve's head. Steve had even unslung his .458 magnum before we made a safe retreat. On this occasion, discretion was definitely the better part of valour. Mana Pools and Chitake in particular, will always hold special memories for me. RIP Steve. Thanks for keeping us safe 🙏
Thanks for watching :) and thank you sharing your story with us. Africa certainly holds so many stories and such unique experiences. It’s a melting pot for this!
Awesome footage 👍
Thanks so much for watching!
Very nicely done 👍 Thanks for sharing 🙏

Very very well done. First time i had a look at your adventures and believe me i became a follower without hesitation. Keep them coming
Thank you for watching! Really appreciate that feedback!
What time of the year were you here? When is best??
Thanks for watching! We were there in September which is an ideal time. I would suggest May - October as it’s the dry season.
Good quality camera👌👌
Amazing content, followed the journey from part 1. I feel as is I part took in the trip, in person.
Thank you so much for watching! Really appreciate your feedback!
There is nowhere on earth like Mana Pools, its just too beautiful and always give of itself! Beautiful place forever in my heart.
this is a burial ground and should not be used for Camping I have contacted the director of parks and explained as such. the Baobabs should only be allowed to walk, not driving
There’s nothing marked as such and we did not see visible evidence of a burial ground, but did note campers present there during our short stay at Chitake campsites 2 & 3.
wow, that was insane, to be guarded by lions
Thanks for watching! Yes, we were lucky with the lions - Botswana’s wildness is somewhat unique in today’s world :)
Just discovered your channel buddy. Awesome stuff!!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! It keeps me motivated to share more!
Just absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for watching!
Nice video Andrew! Great info. Those drone shots looked so awesome. You could have been on the shores of the ancient lake👌
Thank you! Once in a lifetime stuff and exactly why we get out there :) And thanks for sharing your experiences with us too!
Love this video. Really looking forward to our "once in a lifetime" visit to Botswana and the Okavango in October. As UK pensioners, this really is a Once in a lifetime opportunity!!
Thanks for watching! I envy you! You will be creating some amazing memories - what life’s all about!
How do I visit mana pools national park.. what's the best way???
You can “rough” it like we did if you’re ok with self-drive, camping and being self-sufficient, or you could do a 5-star guided experience with one of the many great options there. There are also mobile operators which can give you an in-between kind of experience where you stay in a tent but with other luxuries :) You can self-drive yourself there or even fly in as part of an experience. Many options!
We've got horrible no-see-ums here in Central Texas, too. "OFF" mosquito repellent seems to work on them, however. I would love to visit that area, but don't think I could deal with not having access to showers. A luxury lodge with a swimming pool and access to air conditioning and showers sounds much better than camping. That's just me....
Thanks for watching! Might need to import some of that to Zimbabwe! Luxury is always great but there is something really special about the intimate experience that wild camping offers - I’ve managed to convert a few folks!
@Andrew Senior Adventures Maybe one day I will be able to have enough money and "OFF" repellent to do a trip to Zimbabwe!! Would actually love it, probably!
@@lemonhead162 I would absolutely bet on that! You should get on a plane and do it!
Great video’s - we are planning to go in 2024. I’m thinking of booking a heli flight too - what is the duration of the helicopter flight out of the Khwai?- do you perhaps know how this compares to a flight out of Maun? Thx for your help with this
Hey Johan, the heli-flip is one of the best ways to experience the delta. I would absolutely recommend a 1hr flight from Khwai over the flight from Maun - I’ve done both. You need to see in advance if they would have an aircraft in the area to accommodate that and pre-arrange the meet-up time and location if doing it from Khwai.
@@AndrewSenior thx Andrew - will try to include this on out trip
Hi Andrew, would love to know what kit you use to get this awesome content?
Thanks for watching, Mark! I use 2x Sony A7iii, 2x GoPro Hero8, lenses are 200-600, 12-24 and 28-70. Adobe Premiere Pro for the production and Epidemic for the music/sounds.
Love your video and always great to meet and greet fellow UA-camrs 👍🙏📸🇿🇦🌟👏
Thanks so much for watching! And cheers to a fellow UA-camr! 👏👏
@@AndrewSenior It is all a pleasure and you are welcome! 🙏🇿🇦👍
The water on the pans was incredible.
A very nice video, the background music is annoying and I can assure you that this video will be so much better without the constant background music, but still a superb video. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching and for your feedback! It’s tricky to produce these and keep an entire audience happy, and the music is often a filler for silence and/or where I felt audio from a clip wasn’t suitable.
Very well captured and put together. This is my favorite place to get lost on foot for a few days and enjoy the splendid beauty of this wilderness!
Thank you for watching! And thank you very much for commenting! I couldn’t agree more - Mana is uniquely beautiful and 100% bucket-list worthy!
Lovely video. Very informative. Thanks 👍
Thanks Rob! Loving your content as ever - top notch!
This just came up a year later in suggested shorts, but I just had my 550x delivered about 10 minutes ago. I can't wait to get building and flying.
