Are the internal gears useful for climbing steep slopes?

currently on urb8.9, more of a commuter than this canondale. Where do you mount the front mudguard? Didnt see any mounting holes for rear rack either on their website. Style over function this one and more than twice the price of my bike.

I am 1.93m tall and I recently bought a used 58cm Langster with straight handle bars. Technically, I am 2cm too tall for this size and should be riding a 61cm frame. However, it fits me well enough. I ordered a stem riser with adjustable angle so I will increase my horizontal distance to the handle bars while raising them slightly. I may also swap to drop bars in the future since I am curious to try that. It weighs only 9.3kg which is far lighter than any other bike I've ever had. I like it a lot so far.

nothing beats the simplicity of a rim brake road bike, no suspension to be rebuilt & hydro disc to be refilled every season, and if anything you can try fitting a 28c or 32c and call it a day.

Agree with je, stick with 700 x 25s. 700x 23 tires are a very rough ride. I use 700 x 25 and x 28s on my Langsters.

I have two single speed langsters. One 50x18 and one 42x16. 50x18 is perfect for me. It’s 20mph at 90rpm. If I can suggest you keep with 25mm tires. 23’s are slower and less comfortable. Try gp4000 ii if you can find them. I use swissstop blue pads on white sram apex brakes. They’re a step up over stock. They’re on the 50x18 Monaco that’s white & red.
