I thought the food was good! Not amazing, but not bad either. Some restaurant dishes were hit or miss, but there’s a lot of options so you can order another dish if you’re not content. I would just go to the buffets/restaurants. I wasn’t a fan of the steakhouse, but more so due to my diet. I came into this with little food expectations. I was in it more for the pool, beach, and good weather :)

We just got back and imo the place looks as good as the videos you see but the food everywhere is made to look fancy but its very cheap tasting. The drinks are mid. The ice cream was cheap tasting. I had better food on a carnival cruise but the atmosphere, beach, pools and pretty much all the infrastructure was amazing! We came because it was supposed to have the best food. And it may have the best food but it wasn’t great at all. We couldn’t even go to the steak house but I assume the steak was a cheap cut like the steak we had everywhere else. If you aren’t a foodie you will love it.

@@alexandrasalcedo5275 I’ll gladly explain why. One of my good friends weddings was booked here last week and invited over 80 people and we couldn’t even go through with the full wedding because the groom and 15+ other people from the group got food poisoning due to Salmonella…. Lopesan is a disgrace and you will waste your time and money and the staff and management is rude as hell. The entertainment and “beauty” as advertised is also bs. The casino is literally a room. The engineering of the building is horrendous as it rained pretty bad and the water was coming through the building, rooms and the sewer system must have risen up and smelled like straight S**t… for a “5 star hotel” it’s a damn scam. All those great reviews they have are bot created so I can see why they’re still open due to so many false “great reviews” and propel continuing to book. Put it this way. I was so happy to be back at the airport and arrive back home. Coming back home felt more of a vacation than staying at the shitty ass place to be nice. To add the cherry to the top, WHEN you get sick because it’s inevitable eating there, you will then have to go to the hospital and pay $1,500+ to be seen as it happened to 2 of our friends. Which the Lopesan management team held no accountability on it and said that we as a group brought the disease. I hope this truly helps on you cancelling on them and saving your money and time.

Not these AI generated reviews that the hotel does or the guest that they force to do lol. Place is a joke and it’s a shame cause it has a lot of potential but the staff is horrible, the food is the worse I’ve probably had (not exaggerating one bit), also and invitation for salmonella and food poising. Entertainment sucks and the management team is horrible as well. Go ahead and book if you don’t believe me. You’ll 100% be back at this comment saying “You were right”.

Hi, your video was really informative. But I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind. It could be 30C (86F) or colder in the range of 15C (60F). The weather isn't very consistent in that part of Canada - farther east on the great plains temperatures often exceed 40C (105F), though Banff being higher in altitude in the mountains, it can get colder. I would recommend you prepare for a variety of weather conditions if you plan on going there.
