At 40:03 when Raban goes to the hall of oratory and he’s out of troops in the supply I don’t believe he gains anything at all. Once he’s out, he’s out. BUT what im not sure of is whether the card is skipped and another is drawn for him

In the second conflict if one is the AI had won first place how would the trash card action work for the 1st conflict reward? What do they trash?

In the second room, isn't that a treasure box behind the archer, and what does it give as loot?

Can GH be played multi handed solo. How is the narrative campaign is it fun like a group play

I personally love playing the Scientist. I understand it's not everybody's first pick, but he really has some dope cards. He can remotely research intruder weaknesses, activate emergency Airlock, send a signal and lots of other stuff that you would otherwise need to travel long distance (and most likely get severely injured along the way) to reach, as long as the room is not malfunctioned. Another great perk about remote actions is that you can activate a computer room action that has a fire token and not get a light wound at the end of the player's turn. So, yeah, it's an acquired taste to play this character, but if you sit down and play as intended instead of running around, I'd say you have a pretty solid chance of getting out of there alive.

I think you forgot to award 5 exp for window barriers.

Great video! Just one question: why do you divide and round the number of searches that are available in each room? Did not find anything about that in the rules.

I have been playing Black plague a lot now and my opinion on survivors changed a lot. So my ranking would differ depending on mission. If it’s a short mission, Ann would be number one, because she just can make every meele loot work and she is very mobile. Usually if you play the mission fast, Ann will be leading the with XP. Especially if you get 2 swords and a dagger, she is just stopped by fatty zombies. Silas is number 2 because he does not need any items except maybe extra arrows or a longbow and he will almost kill everything. Third would be Nelly because she is fast can run ahead open doors or go in alone and kill the necromancer if he is protected. 4th, 5th and 6th Share a spot, they are definitely not bad but they need either good loot or level or both to get really going. That said, if it is a really long mission, Silas is my number one cause of the Iron Rain followed by Samson cause of his similar meele ability and because he will never die with one hammer a shield and the +3 armor. 3rd goes to Baldric cause he can use the right spell for every situation without reequipping. 4th would be Ann. She is still good and levels fast but falls of compared to others. 5th is Nelly. She is so fast around the map and can get everywhere needed quickly. 6th is Clovis who is held back by item options. The 2 broadswords are really cool but lack the damage. However if you play with Addons and their weapons (I am having the 2 bastardswords in mind) he would easily climb to the 4th place. fun wise he is really cool though because of the 11 dice you can use on him. I don’t play the other survivors that often because I don’t like to carry around 20 boxes with every addons.

At your first encounter you searched the room with the intruder. You cannot search a room in combat.

Awesome video! I hope you'll do these for all the survivors in at least all Zombicide core sets and expansions, and maybe the separate character-only packs if you ever have the time or energy. Cheers. ❤

I am unsure how the "piloting" action card works: "If you are in the working Cockpit or a room with a Computer, use its Room Action without paying its cost." If I am in a room with a computer can I use the Cockpits room action or the action of the room where I am?

I think at 31:55 since you are slimed, the "quiet" noise roll actually becomes a danger roll nevermind looks like you caught it urself :)

You need to search more, find better weapons, energy cells and canisters for the flamethrower.

You didn't say how many missions it comes with. Amazon have just reduced it so am thinking about buying it.

Pilot has grown to be my favorite character. It's one of the best for tempo. A lot of her cards let you use rooms at 0 cost, and it is much much more valuable than you might think. Basic repair is also kinda nice. Private key to the pods is always good. It's a jack of all trades that can adapt to any situation. Sure, scout is stealthier but boring, and solider has unbeatable aggro, but when you need to adapt, pilot is the way to go. Only big drawback, find a better weapon (or extended clip) asap, and/or means to evade

Scientists can be really good for support but of course it worthless in solo but can help a lot in 4+ games

the best part -- the scientist ignore the leg injuries :D :D :D also he skip leg day in the fitness :D :D :D

She's not a combat character. But she's a good jack of all trades. Good side control mechanics too.

Here is the thing, Scout playstyle doesn't benefit much on a group play. She's really good for whenever you want to rush your objective and escape-pod off, mainly when you don't care about anyone else. This actually can make you watch, sometimes, up to 6 rounds of game that you don't have nothing to do. Because you already escaped. Scientists and Mechanics, on the other hand offer a much appreciated support. Mechanic is such a good character to have around that I would rank him the highest. If you maybe don't want to play with him, that's okay, but there's no one better to have around as him. Patting out fire, repairing at 0 cost, the ship itself simply get easier. Scientists is other amazing friend if you like playing for the hunt and the thrill of the combat. They don't even need to be the ones within the lab to do all the work. They can do their things and simultaneously help around the ship. They can use FCS and LABs from anywhere, man. That's broken Now, wanna hear something interesting? Both Soldier and Scout (and Captain) repair the ship at 2 Cost, and that's why you think the computers and room actions are useless. You're just running around looting anything not nailed, burning like a torch, while the ship goes down. It doesn't not to be that way. Now, wanna know wich character functions the best for any team ? The Pilot. One of my favorites. She Repaira at 1 Cost, and can do Computer Rooms and No-PC Rooms with 0 cost. Check coordinates from anywhere and most powerful: she can skip the enemies entire turn without doing any harm to your team if you know what you're doing. She's amazing. Imagine ranking Silas so low and not talking about Iron Rain. The guy can literally throw 30 attack dice into a square, with a 2+ to hit, and reroll on any misses with a quiver...

Danger roll at 45:13, shouldn't that have moved the adult intruder into the room with you and forced you to resolve an encounter? Book says the following for danger roll: "If there is an intruder in the neighboring room (and it is not in combat with any character), move it to this room. If there is more than one intruder eligible, move them all." Noise markers being added to all non-noisy corridors is only when an intruder is not present in a neighboring room. I def don't mean to sound legalistic over the rules, I'm new and only have two games under my belt. I could be misunderstanding something. That said, keep up the content, I am very much appreciating the Nemesis videos!

Concentrated fire doesn't kill the big guy in black ops. Damn that sucks. Does Concentrated fire kill the big guy in Invader? Also can you play with both board tiles from invader and black ops at the same time or do you pick just one set to play on?

I feel like those characters were basically ranked for fighting skills. I don't have ranking, but I would like to say that the non-combat characters shouldn't be disregarded. I have found someone like the pilot to be really effective once they pick up speed. In the early game you just stick to some heavy-hitter as by that point everybody is cooperating anyways. In the endgame you hopefully have enough items to be somewhat independent, and it's nice to have a character that actually gets something done on the ship.

I am a huge Zombicide fan. I own 1st and 2nd edition of Modern, Invader and Undead or Alive. I really like the nuances of the different settings. Looking forward to playing this and the fantasy one on tabletop simulator one day. Getting the physical boxes is too much money and space when there are already so many Zombicide Boxes in the house :(

I'm new to Gloomhaven, so maybe I'm missing something, but why would you not take a long rest before opening the door to the next room after monsters have been killed?

I assumed the doors opened a la resident evil.
