As somebody who has the all in minis i still bought the standees since setting up the minis takes too much time and the standees is actually a good idea for faster set-up and take down. After a few games the minis gets tiring. Also the standees is better for simulating the hex position of the bosses.

the scenario is meant to play like this you need to move all the books to library room before one of those 2 of the scenario shows up to clear all the book in the dungeon. you cleared all the books while it was still in the treasure room. what shouldve been is that u need to draw 2 extra guild cards if there are no book in the library when the scenario card shows up

I've just purchased the base game secondhand and have been watching your Conan series and loving it. Your energy, and random Conan roars ⚔️ really bring it alive! :D At the moment im learning the BGG varient using the cards, as I dont have any expansions...yet... 😀

1:51:54 Space D is not in the investigator’s line of sight because he must turn a corner to move into it. If the investigator moves into Space A, Space D is still not in his line of sight for the same reason. Space A is in the middle. Space D is where the monster is. Rulebook page 17

A year late but I’ll point out that Baddies move diagonally in the Fatigue round. You should have been clobbered at 2:16. Fun playthrough though, as always.

Love the play through guys. I only just recently purchased this myself and I love it. Just a mistake at the end of the first round after the last pillage token was flipped the round should have ended. Instead you spent your last rage to bring out a unit which shouldn’t have happened. You guys should play another round of this, good job.

Should try out kickstarter stretch goals with electro hero guy is crazy good he's in my top 10 favorite heroes from this game

Finally played the mission, was a breeze, I had definitely more dice and draw luck than you! I probably cheated by using the built-in rerolls of cards though. Used the Frogmosters from Hellboy as Dark Ones instead of the skeletons, which looked great.

You probably receive this a ton but do you have a link to the coloured poker chips you got? Seems like a pretty cool quality and visual upgrade from the ones included in the game!

This is one of the best, most entertaining (and longest!) GIJDBG playthroughs I've come across (a year late!). Thanks for making the game so easy to follow (and confirming I was doing a few things right -- phew!). Have you picked up any of the expansions? If so, I'd love to see more!

This is pretty late, but I'm pretty sure none of the double-sided monsters are placed during Set-Up. The rules mention it, but it would have been helpful if it was on the cards 😅 (For example, the Mind Eater is deployed along with the Husk) Thanks for being one of the only playthroughs out there at the moment! 😊

Home Depot insulation foam and testers of Behr Paint go a long way. Oh I also decided to purchase a really cheap wood burning pen tool. I burned small holes on the bottom of my hexes and purchased tiny magnets on Amazon. With the magnets in the bottom of my hexes, I also bought a sheet of metal from Home Depot. The magnets help prevent the foam hexes from moving on the sheet of metal (especially during those epic moments).

Big question : do you prefere Euthia or Mage Knight and Why ?

Mage knight has become my new obsession. I’ve played like 10 times in a week. I’m glad I don’t play on stream because people would catch so many mistakes probably. Love the puzzle of this game and how good it feels when you take out an enemy especially a ruin or city. Great play through

1:06:30 The time marker there is a *white* marker, not a grey one. It seems like the location lightning bolt effects have grey tokens, while exploration ones have white tokens.

Not sure on Perseverance usage - it looks like from the description you only get to tick it up once per turn regardless of how many baddies hit you but looks like you increased it every time you got hit by a baddie.

At 1:03:04 you mentioned to get a light wound because of fire. But why? Fire damage only happens in event phase right? As you continued your player phase after second action hence, fire damage shouldn't occur. Let me know if there is a specific rule that states to add fire damage after 2nd action?

Just found your channel, and now i'm watching your third playthrough of Euthia :) You're fantastic, easy to watch. Question though: I'm so tempted to pick this game up, and it does look fun, but the trilogy set with the deluxe stuff is going to cost me over £550.... What to do! Be the most expensive game i've ever bought. I own Mage Knight, and recently backed Heroes of Might and Magic. Is it really worth the cost? Thanks buddy!

I thought the card emblem on the power die meant you could spend a card to add an additional damage. Not have to spend a card just to do damage.

Hey, quick question. If the colony III or IV gives a reward for lvl 2 or lvl 3 monster trophy then does it mean that we can not deliver there lvl 1 monster trophy? The rulebook says "If you enter a Colony and you have a Trophy which is depicted on the corresponding Colony card, you may discard the Trophy to the appropriate discard pile and gain the Trophy Reward depicted on the corresponding Colony card. Place one of your Hero tokens on the corresponding Colony card." So it is not allowed to put a hero token on lvl III or lvl IV colonies by lvl 1 monster trophy, right?

You're missing a lot of the hardcover books that they released in your graph. They came with extra equipment and spell cards.

These super massive games have taken the fun out of games and replaced it with endless admin work. You're spending the majority of your time just sitting there thinking and not doing, and when you do, it's 5 different things you have to perform.

Very cool video keep it up! I have a question about the gold and silver cards in a 2 or 3 player game. Every round the monster deck gets a silver card. And every time a player gets a card, the monster gets the same number of cards. Can the players controlling a monster also take their own cards to fight?
