That rasberry and blueberry would be right up my alley.
Looks lovely nice work cheers 👍🍻
Thank you! Cheers!
That looks crispy mate. Well done
Cheers mate🍻
Nice job on that one. Looks like a cracking beer. By the way, last weekend I brewed my partial-mash Toast Ale, based off your recipe. Will post a video about it sometime next month. Cheers! 🍺
Look forward to seeing the video. Cheers legend🍻
@@thehopcartel 😎 🍺
Looks tasty as. Very nice recipe. I'm sure it's drinking nice. Cheers 🍻

Great review. Cool beer can! Looks like a nice beer. My wife would probably love it. Normally she's a hop head but she also loves sours and especially margaritas. Sweet car there too. We're considering a Subaru for our next car after years of owning Toyotas - two RAV4s & a Camry Solara (I miss the Solara - bought it new and put 240,000 miles on it!). Cheers 🍺
Cheers Skid! Can't beat the Toyota's mate, super reliable and a car that just keeps in going🍻
Sounds great, mate. Fruit Loops certainly have a distinct aroma. Cheers!
Cheers Hef😃
Well done on the sponsorship. They do some great work them duco wizards
Cheers mate! I have a good go👍🍻
Yeah, nice sounding sour. And, great looking car. Cheers mate.😎👍
I actually archived the review due to the poor recording/lighting quality, decided to send it to keep the content flowing while working on a few others. The car is a Subaru BRZ, pretty much a re-badged Toyota 86. Cheers mate🍻🍻🍻
My thoughts exactly. Idaho idaho idaho as soon as i smelt it. Mountain culture influence right there. Damn nice drop
Cheers mate! Nice classic WCIPA as mentioned🍻🍻🍻
Great review, mate. Interesting information about how much influence the mash temperature has on the final product. I’m also interested in POR vs Cluster. A lot of XXXX Gold clone recipes include Cluster rather than POR. Do you know if the commercial XXXX uses Cluster? Cheers!
Cheers mate! From memory after doing the XXXX brewery tour they use super pride now.
@@thehopcartel Thanks for info, mate. I wonder if the other Lion brews (like Toohey’s) use it too.
Very interesting between the two beers. Looking and the way you are describing it, it sound like POR. Cheers 🍻
Cheers mate. I'm torn between Australian grown Cluster and POR being used in the se beers🍻
Its ok , a much improvement on the San Miguel , cruzcampo shite to be fair
Very cool. Definitely one worth developing, especially for the warmer weather that’s well on the way. Cheers!
Definitely! A couple of tweaks to round it out should have it good for years to come.
What an interesting idea using Kumquats in a beer. The description of the flavours of them sounds perfect for a Wit. Thanks for sharing. Cheers mate 🍻
Thanks Dino! I've had plenty of commercially available IPA's using kumquats but never really a lighter style like this wheat🍻
Wayward mid is a cracker if you havent given it ago
I think bricklane in terms of volume are up there with coopers. I could be wrong but i have a feeling
Pretty close but Coopers are most definitely more reluctant to venture too far outside the square🍻
Iv seen that 1 and did look past it. Il have to keep my eye out for it.
Hopefully you have luck finding it mate🍻
Got to say it looks in great nick..🍺👍
Great review. I’ve had a few of the Zytho beers and I’ve found them all a little lacking, to be honest. I find the dark fruits to be quite prominent in this one. It’s a touch light in terms of body and roastiness for my taste. Cheers!
Totally agree! Most regardless of macro or true craft have beers that lack from palate to palate🍻
Outstanding Mick. Just pips the mighty Coopers at the post, must be good. Kick arse beer review. Cheers mate 😎👍
Cheers @finroohomebrewing. Only just pips it mate, more so in mouth feel and body🍻
@@thehopcartel and great your doing videos again. Actually, today I dressed my hop plants with fertilizer, blood and topped up with a high grade potting mix. Bull shoots have been starting a few weeks ago so I've been cutting them back and will do until until spring when I'll cut them back again and then start letting a couple per string do their thing. Had a very good fuggles harvest but the Cascade not so much. Next year I might replace all pots with fresh potting mix and dressing. I'm prepared for them to sulk for a season. Hope your all good, your looking well, so cheers mate 😎 👍
I love the chimay beers that looks and sounds decent. Nice one cheers 👍🍻
You and me both! Cheers for tuning in my friend🍻
Cheers, love the youtube content
Cheers! Thanks for tuning in and supporting the channel🍻
Nice beer there, and a cool glass to enjoy it in. I enjoy stout and porter all year round but I have to brew them myself because they're almost impossible to find in the shops, let alone find them below 5% abv. Roast lamb sounds terrific. Do you have a charcoal Weber? I have one and mostly use it as a smoker, cooking over indirect heat. Cheers🍺
Yes 1995 black charcoal weber🍻
@@thehopcartel Awesome. Hard to go wrong with a Weber.🍺🍻
I think UA-cam deleted my first comment on the video (obviously my second comment on Hef's reply was left alone). Anyway, what I had said was the video was quite inspiring and the recipe looks solid so I copied it down. Am keen to adapt it for a partial mash and see what happens and maybe shoot some video too. We buy locally made bread from an organic grocer that should work fine. Cheers!🍺
I'm very humbled that the video has given inspiration for you to give it a run🍻🍻🍻
@@thehopcartel 👍 🍺
Looks SPECTACULAR. Great shit
What's happened to your channel?
@thehopcartel just deleted content due to trolls with the kids but may bring it back with a new concept and content. We will see
I need to het back into it. I also need to listen to your podcast, and TBH hope u r good, and we are ok. I wont lie, i miss ya

Ha ha, this is great...a local brewery near me uses returned sour dough bread in the mash...is that fruit a Pomelos? Cheers mate 👍
Cheers mate! The fruit is actually a lime called Sublime🍻
Decent filled pie that...plenty of mushrooms as well..just subbed ya mate👍🍺
Very cool idea. I’ll have to try to track down a commercial example. Looking forward to seeing the upcoming stout. Cheers!
Cheers mate🍻
Coincidentally, Slurpy Dave's last video covered a small brewer on the Isle of Man which uses "returned bread." Brilliant!
@Skid-Baxter I'll check it out. I actually went back over my original notes and it was the Toast Brewing release that got me interested🍻
Don't know how I missed this one when it posted. Great review and interesting discussion about the smell of rain, as well as how this brewery is handling delivery to its customers at their homes. The beer looks & sounds fantastic. Cheers mate! 🍺
Mine taste like acidic and taste like sour farm ales, is that normal?
This is the most succinct analysis of why I and many beer lovers enjoy IPAs, stouts, porters and most craft beers as well as blandish macro lagers. The context of consumption is indeed the key. Beer becomes the second accompaniment in relaxed company. Nice insight, I've been trying to articulate it for years without being admonished by beer snobs. Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it! I endeavor to cover quite a few more reviews of beers at this level🍻
Cant wait to get mine. Sounds right up my alley
That beer looks absolutely stunning in the glass. Liking the description of how it smells and tastes. Cheers mate 🍻
I scored it a "B+" (very good).
I haven't been able to find anything better then Full Throttle, but I'm a sucker for low n slow brisket.
Once again, you've succeeded in making me hungry! I'm really enjoying these reviews. Keep them coming. Cheers mate!🍺🍻
Aiming to try as many pies as possible while on the road for work. Cheers!
I was waiting for the "kick ass pie review" part 😂. I want to go to sherwood at kotara for a schmoakeasy pie they have been getting good reviews.
Yeah forgot to do the kick arse intro on this one😂
Man that pie looks & sounds f%@*ing amazing, especially with that pale ale. Great review. Cheers!🍺🍻
Cheers mate! Appreciate you tuning in🍻
Do these cold IPA s have a colour range. Looks more xpa in colour. I must have a look on bjcp. Just interested because I'm trying to get to know these new styles . Cheers mate, your on the board of Fame lol. Haven't done the video yet.
Hey @finroohomebrewing it's certainly not a bjcp recognised style but slightly similar to an IPL, easiest way to describe it is- at its most fundamental level, a Cold IPA is an IPA that is brewed with lager yeasts at colder temperatures, creating a crisp, drinkable yet generously hopped India Pale Ale. I'll keep an eye out for the board of fame video lol. Cheers🍻
Cheers Mick 😎👍
Been wanting to do a pb imperial stout for a while. Will check that out
This is one very solid beer mate🍻
Glad you enjoyed them ❤ hands down my favourite beer and yes very easy to down a few them and stager home 😂😂
Thanks again for sending them out🍻 I would expect mine to land on your doorstep very soon🤞
👋🏼 hey... I must of have one the demo lables on that can 😂 it's a 7.7% sweet stout it was going to be a porter but I over shot my numbers and the sweetness it became a sweet stout 😅.. Cheers for the clarification and recipe breakdown. I'll give it a run in the very near future🍻
