I am a detailer working beside i glass repair guy. I have cleaned a few a-pillars for him. Its doable, if you dont let it dry, and use glue/tare remover, or another solvent.

As an RV tech we use sealants like SikaFlex and Sewage tank sealants that are the same. Major pain if it touches skin and game over if you get any on buddies 1/2 million motorhome.....
